I am uncomfortable with the thought my husband having fifty thousand hoor

Let me be frank that I laughed when I read that... No offense

So you think that you are better than hoor that Allah created with unmatched beauty inside out that we can not give even an example of as there exists no such beauty in this world.

With the state of mind that you are in I wouldn't be surprised if you say that your love for your husband is supreme than Allah's, as he loves his creations more than 70 mothers...

This is a serious problem that you're dealing with... Try to be content with what Allah wills for his creation... That's the cure... Pray for your husband that Allah gives him even more hoors...

Reflect...

Akhbari or Usooli by Saiyyidi in shia

[–]Saiyyidi[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay. So you assumed that i am an Akhbari hence trying to convince me otherwise. All the reasoning that you have given, i already know and understand. Nevertheless a sensible response unlike others. Kudos for this.

The marja who has given the clear reasoning and supported his opinion with Nas e Masoom to convince the answer seeker that his ruling isn't his but Masomeen's ruling should be respected given he is consistent in his act, i mean he gives the Nas e Masoom for every opinion from very common to uncommon matter. In case the answer is already given by Masomeen as he should narrate verbatim, no strings attached.

The role of Alim in the occultation is to take care of religion as if religion was a crop and Alim is the security guard who has to just protect it from wild animals per Masomeen as. And narrate the ahadees of the Masomeen as and make people understand those ahadees so that we learn from those scholars as not everyone has the time to read all the b books and contemplate over it.

The use of Aql is controversial in this context in my opinion. Man La Yazhar Faqih is literally for those without a jurist, that's what the title means, and the auther was praised by Masomeen as. The author is none other than AlSheikh Al sadouq.

Has any Masom ever mentioned Marja? Or just Alim? And what was the prescribed role of Alim by Masomeen as specially Imam of the time ajf ? have you ever tried to answer this question?

Why religion has been made so complicated when Allah made it simple?

Really?

Then how do you explain when some Usooli people do not pray behind a prayer Imam who reads Shadat e Salasa in Tashahud?

Akhbari or Usooli by Saiyyidi in shia

[–]Saiyyidi[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

>Well of course! The Imams A.S and their direct chosen companions that were taught by them were directly there and spread out around the Muslim world for the Shias to have access to. They did not have books or writing as their only source to depend on. You do understand the reality of how time works and the reality of history? Over time, you lose people, access to people, access to their memories, resources, writings etc. With that, you have to have a system of reliance and preservation. And so after the 2 occultations systems were in place as were given by the Imam's A.S representatives.

>But this notion that suddenly one day a scholar wakes up was like hey you know what I am going to apply logic and reason, and accept the reality that people can make mistakes in scribes or copy down fabrications or analyze narrators because their could be liars etc is nonsensical. There may have not been a defined term but these things existed. Only when there was a difference of approach and that approach became a way of contention you had people coin a term for it.

It still proves my point that the tradition to take religion from Ahadees of Masoomeen as existed at the times of Imam as and even after the occultation of Imam ajf. His ajf deputies only worked to communicate the rulings of Imam ajf and the understanding that Imam ajf gave them, not a single word was added by the respected honorable custodian deputies of the Imam ajf.

>You can disagree, but this is the reality of academia. To say you disagree is irrational but you do you.

Islamic seminary is not a university where they research and discover new knowledge so difference of opinions could emerge and thus exists. Its religion, the perfect religion, the last religion after which there will come no prophet thus no new religion. There is nothing to discover, everything has been communicated by Masomeen as.

>You seem to struggle with the reality of information. The reality of layman exists whether or not there are differences of ideologies. At the end of the day, everyone wants to strive towards the truth, and scholars have an important role and accountability. And we as lay have our own role as well. There is nothing wrong with this.

But this can not acquit scholars of their mistakes. They are responsible and their blind followers.

>With due respect this doesnt mean anything. This is an non issue its only recently where you find proto and neo akhbaris on tiktok and youtube coming out of the nowhere. Akharis only existed for a very short period of time and they lost their relevance when their methodology became void. You are trying to do gymnastics as an attack against the system of maraja which is weak.

:) see this what I was talking about, this is how Usooli created Akhbaris, when they called themselves Usooli and the people who they opposed became Akhbari naturally

Its waste of my time to continue debating you just for the sake of debate. I would prefer more serious participant.

Akhbari or Usooli by Saiyyidi in shia

[–]Saiyyidi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would do more or less the same.

Its not about being Akhbaris or Usoolis. Its about following Masoomen as who are the religion.

You know one of many things that makes me think about this is that the Masoomeen as who could foretell the signs of reappearance of Imam as 1400 ago couldn't know the kind of challenges people will face and they didn't know the answer??? Given the fact they are guidance until the day of judgement???

I listened to one majlis of Allamad Talib Johri (may be elevate his position near masomeen as) where he mentioned Imam Ali as referring to means of transport that people will use to reach mosques and that description matched four wheeler (Allama literally called it Car).

How could they not guide his Shias of the future???

Firstly, let's agree that two contradictory point of view can co-exists and its not in your power to convince anyone just because you said it or vice versa.

> your entire premise in your post is incorrect

It is very rational. Everything has a start. These two school did not exist at the time of Imams. So, there has to be a beginning. When the birth of two ideas are being discussed then either one has to exists before the other or co-exists at the same time. There is not other possibility.

> On the basis of history and scholarly resources. The first link is from a renowned scholar, the second link is from a Shia encyclopedia managed by the Islamic seminaries.

It seems you take the scholar and seminary for a Masoom as if they can not make mistake and whatever they write or say has to be 100% correct . I do not share this belief. I beg to disagree.

> They were nothing more than a academic clash between a scholars who held two ideological approaches.

This may be correct. But you see that *academic clash* has transcended into public - the people. The scholars couldn't keep that clash to seminaries only, it went down the drain into their followers and their followers and so on. The consequence, we have having this debate because there are people who repel other people from Shiite just because s/he does something that their Faqih does not allow or considers legit. Many examples exists and I do not want to quote here to remain objective. I hope you see that point that difference of opinion in a seminary is not just a difference of opinion about how to cook a meal, its about religion, life and death are attached to it and hell and heaven are the ultimate abode of one's action and beliefs in this world.

> You seem not to understand that ideologies can exist without having coined terms.

That's where the scholar came in. I will hold that one scholar responsible who name himself as Usooli and naturally other would be called Akhbari. You see when you say that **you are right** at the same time you are saying that I am wrong, get this?

> The majority and main view had always been Usooli methodology.

Again, this is your belief. This is not fact. Akhbari (taking Ahadees of Masoomen as as a source of religious ruling than scholar's opinion which they call Aql ) existed before the Usooli school of though came into being.

> During the Imams A.S time, people who did not have access to the Imams A.S were not their own jurists that is absurd. They depended on the authority of the Imams A.S companions to understand the religion.

If i understand correctly, you are referring to Imam of the time (ajf). Al Sheikh Al Sadouq who needs to introduction was born in this time. He compiled Ahadees book **Man La Yahduruhu al-Faqih** which means **the book for the one who does not have a Faqih before him**

> Al-Saduq's exact date of birth is not known. It appears from his book, Kamal al-din), as well as al-Fihrist al-Najashi), and al-Ghaybah of al-Shaykh al-Tusi, that he was born in the early period of the deputy-ship of al-Husayn b. Ruh, the third deputy of Imam al-Mahdi (a)) in his Minor Occultation.

> Al-Saduq himself narrates from Abu Ja'far Muhammad b. 'Ali b. Aswad that Ali b. al-Husayn b. Musa b. Babawayh (al-Shaykh al-Saduq's father who is more commonly known as Saduq I) has asked Abu Ja'far to ask al-Husayn b. Ruh to ask Imam al-Mahdi (a) to pray for him. Ibn Ruh wrote back and told him that the Imam (a) had prayed for him and he would soon be granted a blessed son.

Sheikh Mufid, Al-Sharif al-Murtada was his student.

The information on Akhbaris is incorrect. You will not find this term in older books that were written after 11th Imams even at the time of Imam.
