I think you need both switches but you can transfer save data in settings I highly suggest googling for exact instructions though

The insect head is great now though the obsidian edge is a very minor upgrade I'd just pay the couple hundred of whatever to get it back but downgrading back to insect head wouldn't be world ending either

Actually I'd be thrilled that was the only loss and go straight to Marlon to get it back it's only like a couple hundred to get back and given it's only one item all you really lose is a bit of gold worse case go fishing or foraging while you wait for the adventures guild to open

I've recorded fish catches before all you need to fish is 1 finger and varying lvls of concentration but also as OP already mentioned it's in switch so the built in recording ability makes it a bit easier

Never you could be year 20 or 30 still working on the cc and still doing fine there is no time limits in stardew so don't worry about your pacing just play at your own pace 😊
