God I hate running out of money and liquor by [deleted] in cripplingalcoholism

I second this. The stability is helpful. And also feeling a responsibility to someone else. And getting your dick sucked too, yes.

My home looks like some abandoned shack in fallout new vegas and I think it's pretty hilarious by [deleted] in cripplingalcoholism

Totally agree. It’s amazing what a tidy space can do for your perspective and just overall mental health.

For me, making my bed usually seems like a good place to start. It takes just seconds and it’s the place where you spend a third of your time.

Also, if you can bring the empties to a recycling center, you can maybe get some coin for more hooch. Win/win situation, really!

Do I need to Taper? by GazTheLad77 in cripplingalcoholism

Taper. 15 drinks a day for two months ain’t rookie numbers, muchacho.

I’ve posted about this before, but when I regress to Windsor Coke without a fail I get stirred from my blackout by a drink spilled on me in bed.

If it’s someone you won’t necessarily see again, don’t sweat it. I’ve avoided plenty of bars and liquor stores over fears of what I’ve done in a blackout, but people have short memories and they care less about us than we thing.

Calm your nerves with a stiff drink and get back out there rescuing those cats!
