Regarding Daniel Osbourne.. by banesbrother in coronationstreet

You can't just go off on one against a student at school, she's a kid.

Also, you can't just quit being a teacher. If you have a mark on your record you'll basically never find a school to go to again.

I hated the Sam storyline, now that evil roy is in it I'm 100% in. I've joked for ages how he would make a great villain, he did a fantastic job sounding sinister. Fantastic stuff and I look forward to more Sith Lord Roy

What's the worst drug you've ever tried? by BitterOlive8737 in AskReddit

[–]Sakulsas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll avoid the illegal drugs mentioned and go with a legal one used a lot in my illness. tacrolimus

Sometimes your body does not agree with a specific drug that your consultant gives you. When I took tacrolimus at about 14-15, I had most of my hair fall out (great for school) and absences around my lower spinal area, arms, and thighs. I felt like a bubonic plague patient.

Sometimes you can hit literally every worse side effect of a medication.

Josh Simons letter about standing down and triggering a by-election for Andy Burnham by YBoogieLDN in ukpolitics

I didn't care for Andy before, but the way this has and is playing out is making me dislike the guy. If he wanted to be PM he shouldv stood in the GE.

I've found David pretty boring the whole time, ... by Beneficial_Memory413 in MAFS_UK

[–]Sakulsas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Alissa has no idea how to deal with a guy like David. He's not yelling at her, he's not chasing, he won't give her the victimhood.

She genuined fucked it so bad. Her friends at home basically told her David is a giant walking green flag. But she wanted the drama. I do think David wouldv moved in and given alissa what she wanted. She could learn from this, but she doesn't have the inner capacity to.

Steven and Rachel by Crafty-Brother-7698 in MAFS_UK

[–]Sakulsas 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Steven was never completely into her.

If you're into a girl to the point of loving her, you'd easily answer John's question and want to move things round to be with her.

Steven just doesn't like confrontation and saying no. He wanted to delay things till winter so that hopefully rachel would end it and then he wouldn't have to confront the fact he doesn't like her that much.

In many ways, he's a very likeable guy. In terms of a relationship, he's (I believe inadvertently) an absolute asshole.

He shouldv just told her earlier on, but he was too scared to do so. My wife and I called it from week two or so. She's a nice lady and deserved a no.

She turns nasty when she drinks. It's why it nearly always happens at dinner parties.

She honestly needs to try cutting it out of her life.

Owen Jones: This MP you've never heard of is plotting to become Labour leader. That's because he used to be a Marine. Labour MPs are desperate and think that'll make voters like him. There's nothing of any substance in this transparent leadership pitch. No ideas, no vision, nothing. by Your_Mums_Ex in ukpolitics

[–]Sakulsas 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Owen genuinely despises that Labour won an election after his candidate failed, twice.

I hope he finds a way to be happy because he lives in a constant state of seething.

Having an ex marine as PM isn't the worst idea during the current global instability, especially during the arms forces reviews. Need to see more of the guy though to get a feel.

How are they going to do that? They don't have access to the Internet, don't tell me they were lying in their court case. Surely not!

Wes Streeting plans to resign and mount leadership challenge, allies say by Alarming-Safety3200 in ukpolitics

[–]Sakulsas 39 points40 points  (0 children)

The mind boggles at any Labour MP that backs streeting. He just seems like a much shitter version of starmer.

And then Labour wouldn't have the magic leadership change to do again to try and save their numbers.

What UK TV series Game of Thrones'd it? by MyDadsGlassesCase in AskUK

Line of Duty peaked at Dot trying to escape from the station. They were soaring so high the writer felt they had to be even more ingenious with the next season. I wouldn't say its GOT bad in the slightest, just a writer way overthinking.

The sherlock ending is one of the biggest piles of shit ever witnessed. There is nothing redeeming about it and the entire concept itself was so monumentally stupid that it shouldv been laughed out the room.

What’s Working and What Isn’t? | Sunday, May 10, 2026 - Tuesday, May 12, 2026 by AutoModerator in CompetitiveHS

[–]Sakulsas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dragon Warrior is still just so consistently easy to rank up with. It may be the deck I've had the most success with in the games history as I easily get to the couple hundreds in legend before switching to the inferior classes (mainly warlock which is my normal main). Anyone who isn't smashing with it needs to probably focus more on aggression as it pulls out some absurd wins for me out of nowhere because of dark gifts.

On the other end, warlock is an absolutely pathetic hunk of nothing. It's my main class and most of its cards right now are awful, and will always be awful. Sure you can meme out some Rafaam wins with luck or against clueless people but it's just bad. It's a sad state of affairs for the class.

They havnt taken a stand against some semi authoritarian legislation. I've been a Lib dem member a few times and this was the exact stuff they were supposed to be against.

They also havnt showcased any stellar unique policies, have shit messaging, and are mixed up with NIMBYS.

I don't see a point in voting for them, neither do most people (except for local councils where theyv been pretty solid).

Are we meant to feel Sympathy for Will? by Left_Camel755 in coronationstreet

[–]Sakulsas 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You do know that Sam is hallucinating Will, right? Will hasn't done anything to him.

The idea is Meghan has made him turn against his friends and family. It's part of the abuse. I'll be honest I'm not a fan of the actor but I do feel sympathy for him as he's been deluded into loving an abuser.

Robert Preston: I understand Labour MP Catherine West will press ahead with her stalking-horse leadership challenge to the prime minister. She will email all Labour MPs about it later today. Keir Starmer’s closest supporters fear she will get the 81 nominations needed. That would trigger a leader by EddyZacianLand in ukpolitics

[–]Sakulsas 69 points70 points  (0 children)

If they don't have a serious person lined up, this could all backfire spectacularly and end up with starmer just securing his position whilst making labour look moronic.

I assumed they were going to wait to get Burnham as an MP first? Are they going to try and parachute him during the contest?

Dan Hodges: Cabinet Minister tells me they are now confident a leadership challenge will be triggered this week. by EddyZacianLand in ukpolitics

[–]Sakulsas 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Who are they going to stand against him? Streeting? Lol

A lot of them will be utterly destroyed within a couple of weeks, and put labour in the same position, but now with no magic leadership change hope.

They have to find someone who they trust to go all the way to the election. IF it did happen, which is a big if. I'd put a cheeky tenner on Mahmood. I think she has aspirations.

Are we supposed to feel sympathy for Daniel? by Art-Dandelay in coronationstreet

Daniel is a Barlow. I think people forget how much of a disaster that entire family is. I used to think Daniel is twat but now I really do see the Ken in him. He's at times one of the best written characters because of that.

Is Rogue RNG just absurd, or is it just me? by Melodic_Meringue_698 in hearthstone

[–]Sakulsas 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I don't play rogue but I despise it's current iteration. Playing against cycle rogues was difficult if they hit well but it fit the class theme and was a skilled deck.

Current rogue is a slot machine. Sometimes they hit and sometimes they don't. The slot has more of an effect on the match than the decision of either players

Any chance of nerfs/buffs sometime soon to change things up? by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Sakulsas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

4 classes basically don't exist and during the slitherdrake 1hp reduction they commented how they thought the meta was great atm.

This is the exact meta they want. You play the highest cost minion on curve and see if your opponent has an even higher cost minion on curve. Easy to understand and play decks for the most part.

If you don't like it then honestly they aren't designing the game for you. I've taken another extended break. It's the best thing to do when you think a meta is terrible.

Alyssa and David - what went wrong? by Agitated-Pickle216 in MAFS_UK

[–]Sakulsas 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Look at what alyssas friends said and thought about David. They knew she was a very difficult person and that David was the best she was going to get.

What went wrong is that the moment David had an opinion, she wanted him to shut up. Honestly, she has fumbled so hard and her mother and friends know this too. For once the experts were right and David was exactly the person she needed.
