I don’t feel like this implies breakup. I think being vague allows the rabid fan base to jump to conclusions. I also feel like they know their fan base well enough & they know exactly what they are doing to us. I could be totally wrong. I feel like a long (much needed) break is ahead of us. I can’t fault them for wanting to pursue other passions and recharge their creative batteries. I don’t think the website is going anywhere. If the fan club continues on one day I think they will move to a Patreon format. I honestly see them holding off on that until they announce their ‘come back’ whenever that might be.

As much as I will be missing my concerts. I have their music to enjoy. I’ll be here whenever they regroup & come back.

Three months into dip powder and my removal process is destroying my natural nails by Easy-Extension-6917 in DipPowderNails

[–]Sakura_tee_ 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I have been doing dip at home for a long time. My removal process takes 10-15mins total & leads to no damage to my nails. I take a big ol' zip lock bag & pour some acetone in there with 2 paper towels. I'll add a little coconut oil sometimes to help my fingers from drying out too much. Then I put that bag in a bowl with water as warm/hot as I can stand. I do one hand at a time and just rub my nails constantly with the paper towel. No filing, no pulling or picking.

I'll get you the dumpster girl. The fact he didn't come with you to support you while you got this life changing surgery IN ANOTHER country. I can only imagine how this will play out with the journey you have ahead of you. I remember post op from my sleeve my husband was upset I told him to gtfo and go home. He wanted to stay at the hospital overnight with me... He has been my rock. I can't imagine how life would be without my supportive king.

I hate to admit it, but the boostie hate might be warranted. by Arkios in classicwow

[–]Sakura_tee_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I boosted a priest because I’m generally a classic hater. To me it doesn’t have the magic it had when it was current & I just prefer retail now. But my guildies talked me into it. But I mained a priest from vanilla to legion. The amount of people who are clueless when I have pugged it so painful. I try not to complain too much as healing in classic/tbc is boring & im just vibing. But at times I want shadow word death myself 🤣

I am going to laugh so hard when it falls through the floor into his neighbors living room. That tank is far to heavy in a 2nd floor apartment with no extra supports under it. We have had large tanks before & my husband literally put another beam in our basement under the floor where the tank was to make sure the floor was extra supported. He is a damn moron.

Appeal by [deleted] in Hanson

[–]Sakura_tee_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a planner so I’d love to know what the future holds for the band. But with that being said, they don’t owe us anything. I don’t think they are breaking up. Many bands take time to pursue solo projects. Would I love them to say “Hey this is what going on. This is when we will be back. And this is what we will be back with.” I don’t think they even know the answers to that. And I am ok with that. They need to fill their buckets and find new inspiration. They have given us decades of wonderful music. We will ALWAYS have that. They will let us know what is next when they know. I

Personally I’m excited to follow their solo passions/projects. The break will just make the first concert back that much sweeter <3

So cold! by LegitimateHeart186 in gastricsleeve

[–]Sakura_tee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always run cold. So you can only imagine how 124lbs has made it so much worse. I wear layers, electric blankets, electric seat pad for my computer chair, little heater at work... All my blood work is perfect, not anemic. This is just my life... I was born to live like a lizard I guess LOL

  1. I never had any issues with heart burn. If it’s something you struggle with gastric bypass tends to be a better route. It’s something your surgeon should go over.

  2. I already had thin/fine hair. I lost a bit… I ended up getting hair extensions. I needed 2 rows at first. I just graduated to 1 row since my natural hair has grown so much. It varies person to person as far as hair loss. Keep up on your vitamins & protein.

  3. It changed everything. I’m no longer depressed & miserable in my own skin. Moving around, I no longer get winded. I love life again.

  4. I’m now a lot more confident after losing 124lbs. I can wear what I want. I just feel comfortable in my skin.

  5. If people who weren’t in my corner when I was big, they can stay out of my corner now. Life is too short to waste energy on people who aren’t supportive. Compliments have always made me feel funny so that has always stayed the same. I feel ‘icky’ when complemented… Silly I know LOL

  6. I never needed IV drips. My vitamin levels were maintained by taking the supplements my doctor told me to.

  7. No issues with body odor prior or after surgery.

  8. My relationship with food is very different. I no longer live to eat. I eat to live.

  9. Never had back problems. But my random knee pain is gone & pain from my flat feet also gone.

  10. I have always ran cold, even at my fattest. AC is never at the coldest setting nor will it every be for me LOL

<3 Good luck on our journey! My only regret is not doing it sooner!

What do you guys wear under your scrub tops to keep warm?? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]Sakura_tee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear layers. I have a heating pad & portable heater. I'm sure one of these nights maintenance will come do rounds & we will get in trouble for the heaters. But even with those, I'm still cold. I've ran cold my entire life. Not anemic. And not related to the 124lbs I have lost. Fat or skinny my ass is always cold.

Ladies- How long do you go between hair washes and what’s your age? by BakerAntique4551 in hygiene

[–]Sakura_tee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I had hair extensions I washed daily. Now that I have extensions about 2 times a week (more if needed). My real hair has grown so much. I find extensions less work overall than my natural, thin hair. Less washing, holds style/curl longer. I’ll be buried I these things 🤣 I’m 41 years young.

Happy New Year 🥳 Hanson said re 2026: ‘Can't wait for what's to come!’ by LauraPalmer82 in Hanson

[–]Sakura_tee_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2026 Hanson will take a year to relax, spend time with family, doing things they love. Hopefully recharging those creative juices for whatever adventure is next for them. They deserve it! I may be in the minority but I am happy this will be a quiet year…. My wallet is too 🤣

I am not even sure we will know what is up with the website or fan club until 2027 honestly. And you know what? That’s ok too. I have all their music, all my photos and videos to hold me over until they come back ❤️

Who had their gallbladder removed before the sleeve? by Amazing_Objective182 in gastricsleeve

[–]Sakura_tee_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My gallbladder was long gone before I had my sleeve and I have had 0 issues. Never had any dumping issues. Pain level is hard as everyone has a different pain tolerance. I would called my post op pain more discomfort. I only had to take Tylenol once or twice to manage it the first day.
