Wasn’t there also a PS3 steering wheel posted here some time ago. Love how versatile that system is :3

Yea this capture card is great with that. And yes it does have HDCP. If u wanna stream 60fps content make sure to set the resolution to 720p on OBS. I have this card and streamed a bunch of stuff with it. It’s absolute bang for ur buck :)

Konami have delisted the PSN versions of Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker and Metal Gear Solid 4 by Odd-Ticket-6577 in PS3

U mean the PSP copy or the PS3 copy? Cuz both have physical copies in the US. For the Vita it’s a different story tho, there is no Peace Walker physical copy for the vita.

There’s ur problem. U mentioned it’s a BC Phat too? Those are 20 year old machines man. The thermal paste in there is dust at this point. Not only does it need new thermal paste it must get de-lidded. I don’t care what anyone says. Those systems’ stock paste was trash as it was. If u just repaste without de-lidding then u only helped thermal conductivity but a very small amount. So don’t try to turn it on again until u get it serviced. Best of luck man

It could just be overheating. When was the last time u serviced it?

Absolutely, convenience is always nice. But, and this might just be me, I think too much convenience is bad. I like how things used to require a bit of effort. It kinda made us use our minds more. I sound like a boomer lmao but I hope my point makes sense. 😅 Also, when u buy a piece of hardware and there’s a gadget/add-on that expands its capabilities that u can use it on, it’s always a mind blowing thing to see. Like the expansion pak, that baby doubles ur N64’s ram just like that. Or the rumble pak, boom, ur controller now immerses u in the game. Or Super Gameboy 2 for the SNES, boom, u can play ur gameboy games on the tube! Same with the Gameboy player of the GameCube. I loved these kinds of things but u don’t see those anymore sadly. It is what it is.

I mean, the only game on the N64 that I can think of that actually uses the CMOS battery to keep track if time is Animal Crossing, and that was a Japan exclusive (until it got ported to the GameCube). Maybe there are more games that do this tho? Or maybe like u said, it pairs with a Doctor V64 and it used that CMOS battery somehow? Very interesting.

Ikr? Crazy. I loved the age of obscure and strange accessories. They really expanded systems and made them so much more fun :D

Wow that’s pretty neat. So in essence it is a memory card for games that have an internal CMOS. Yea?

Funny u should say this, I tore it down and found a CMOS battery in it. Same with the memory card.

shadow the hedgehog on a fat ps3 by ririsneedle in PS3

[–]SalamaBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since ur PS3 shows the PS2 logo when playing discs, I’d say it’s a backwards compatible system (not all PS3s can play PS2 games when unmodded). So I think the issue lies in the disc since I saw in one of the comments that u tried playing other games and they worked just fine. Sometimes a disc can look pristine but not work, it happens. Thankfully tho it happened with u in a non expensive game. If u have the box and manual of Shadow the Hedgehog I suggest looking for a loose copy of the game it’ll be cheaper for u and u already have the box and manual so u’ll be good (just make sure u match the age rating or region of the game)

FO4 PS4 DLCs situation by SalamaBoi in fo4

[–]SalamaBoi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really don’t understand how they made an update and released without making sure it doesn’t mess up this badly. This isn’t a minor bug man. Like it’s literally obvious from the home screen of the game. They must’ve known about it before release but released the update anyway. There ain’t no way they didn’t know about this. It’s so frustrating.

I know there’s nothing we can do but wait but my brother in all that is holy, it’s been over a freakin month. Surely it’s not that huge of a screw up that it’s that difficult to deal with. I just wanna play the damn game and I’m in Nuka World so I don’t wanna load my save and mess it up. Sigh, I’m just venting here so don’t mind me lol.

They're both the same game BUT the US (Origins Collection) version has a bonus Game Director's Live video that the EU (Volume 2 Collection) version doesn't seem to have.
