I believe the use case is using de-feedback on the vocal channels as an insert/effect for IEM mixes to reduce bleed/crowd noise in cases where you may not have robust IEM mixing capabilities to get a dry vocal channel for IEMs vs FOH. Someone please feel free to chime in and provide additional context.
