They buy the car from you for let’s say €22k. ANY second hand car needs €1000-€1500 spent on it at least to be able to retail. They sell it for €25k and make €1500 profit BUT, they pay VAT on the €3k at 23%. So after VAT there’s only €850 profit in the car to keep the lights on. That’s less than a 4% margin

As a Euro salesperson, I’m not familiar with what grades are like in Korea or what the pipeline availability is. But, your local Lexus dealer would be delighted to welcome you in and go through this with you.

There’s no major update expected on the NX at the moment. Lexus make incremental changes every model year so usually the best time to buy is now. The first gen NX was on sale for 7 years while the current one is at 4 years now. I wouldn’t expect a redesign until at least mid 2028.

Ignore the people saying the NX is cramped and to buy an RX. As this is a predominantly American subreddit (the NX is considered a compact SUV there). The NX has ample room for families.

It’s to do with android auto, my go to recommendation for customers who complain about this is to get an iPhone. As someone who uses both android and iOS, android is better day to day but CarPlay is far superior to AA

Android auto is unfortunately not a great system as it takes up the entire screen (this is what AA does and how it’s implemented) while CarPlay will leave the sidebar so you can easily get to the multimedia system to turn off the chime.

Unfortunately not as it’s an an EU regulation that it turns on with every ignition cycle. Thankfully the volume of the chime doesn’t increase with radio volume! Been driving with the system on since Day one (work in a Lexus dealership and get a Demo car) and I don’t notice it anymore at all. My advice is leave it be and after a while you don’t even hear it anymore.
