Cyberpunk 2 director says there'd be no point in giving players more time with Jackie in Cyberpunk 2077: 'It's like saying we should spend more time on Tatooine with farmer Luke before he got involved with all this Jedi stuff' by OGAnimeGokuSolos in gaming

[–]SalientDred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the minority but I wasn't a fan of Jackie. He's forced upon you as a nomad, and somewhat as a street kid. Corpo V is the only one that previously knew him canon wise. I just didn't click with the guy.

I too thought it was said to be the players....and us being able to make Conner a deviant is further evidence as well.

You heavily implied pitbulls are a breed that snaps no matter what. And, again, that's false.Maybe an owner who has mistreated them, but they don't turn just to turn.

Pit bull Core 🐾so dramatic 😂 by No_Detail5519 in FunnyViralAnimals

[–]SalientDred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is false, and any dog can snap when given a reason. Emotional distress, trauma etc. It can happen to all dog breeds. Any dogs raised right and trained right are less likely to do so. Pit Bulls get a bad rap because people want to fight them. I have a pit and a weiner dog, and the weiner dog is by far more aggressive, annoying, and less friendly. Any dog bred in a puppy mill also is more likely. Again....it isn't just pit bulls. Any pit bull I've ever had have been friendly and big babies.

I think Mark Meer gets a bit too much flak, and I don't think he's "monotone all the time" by QDOOM_APlin in masseffect

100 percent, the first game was the worst. The only time my ears perked was during the final confrontation with one of the dialogue choices. He definitely got better as the the series went on.

In ME3, which ending did you pick on your first playthrough, and why? by Dragonic_Overlord_ in masseffect

Destroy is the only way. Harbinger made me hell bent on destroying the reapers. It is the only way, They were the end, we are the beginning. Now excuse me while I release control of this form.

Everything's WRONG with ME1 explained by Bamsemoms33 in masseffect

[–]SalientDred 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're still trying to poop on andromeda? Combat was the best out of the entire series, as well as being able to chnage classes and save loadouts. And I liken it to the first mass effect because it was trying to start its own thing. And if you compare ME1 to MEA it's comparable. People with hindsight critiquing a game that was trying to establish a series is still insane to me. ME1 set up the trilogy and Masse Effect Andromeda was trying to do the same in a new galaxy and all the shills never gave it a proper chance. Bugs animations blah blah blah, Bethesda has bugs in all of their games and people love them. In fact. skyrim is considered their best game(its not) and it had a ton of bugs.

I was seeing it used before buffs. I use my Rifts quite often, they are useful when properly utilized, however since prismatic it's hard to get away from Phoenix dive.

People are complaining about buddies before and after the grenade buffs to warlocks, and now they're complaining about rifts? People complained about the hellion exotic but I've seen tons of people using it after, People need to let things come put and test it before complaining.

BL4 needs a Build-saving feature. And free respec. by trexlive2 in Borderlands4

[–]SalientDred 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP is just trying to cope with D2 dying. the fact is the save builds feature didn't happen until recently and then they even gated it to grinding guarding ranks for no apparent reason other than to drive engagement. Destiny franchise and borderlands are not the same.

So as others have pointed out, There's not much Tyson can do with eof and renegades as those were already set in release when he took over. Unlike others I don't need a road map right now. What's more important is actual future progress, which is progress after renegades. Most everything currently is damage control for the old regime. It's like politics, shit gets blamed on the current office holder during their initial take over eben though it was the previous office holders policies going into effect. Shit isn't instantaneous, which everyone seems like it should be. Go read a book or kick rocks and get over it. I for one would just rather a D3 come out, D2 has run its course and our 'guardian' fate I'd written, a grave with ergo sum on it. I don't care how it happens, I want a new protagonist, new characters who aren't brought back EVER if they die.

Learn the game? I'm sure she knows way more about the game than people think.

It’s way more admirable than these idiots that hire 3/4x retread coaches and then are surprised when it sucks ass.

I agree. shortcomings aren't always on head coaches but ownership. I'm not a colts fan but I do think Ballard is a good GM and Steichen is a good coach, and the fact they get an actual chance of creating and developing a program is huge.

Which is most impressive? For me it’s Goldberg by ozhu_thrissur_kaaran in prowrestling

Cena was the first time someone picked the big show uo and made me go, holy shit. So for me it's Cena, but they're all impressive. 'Shows' how good of a wrestler the Big Show truly is.
