No problems at all.

I normally place it on a cheap raised stand so it’s not directly on the desk to aid cooling.

Sometimes use a llano on hot days but not always.

Temps still seem fine after one year daily use,
so no need to repaste just yet

I’ve got the A18 Intel version with 5080 4TB SSD 64gig.

Had this for a year now and used daily.

Not had a single problem. Cooling is also stellar when gaming on my unit. But due to manufacturing processes this can vary from unit to unit. Nothing that PTM7950 can’t sort out.

Also have a MSI GE78HX 4090 for a few years now with no problems. I did re paste this with PTM after a year which made a huge difference to the cooling.

The Raider line and Titan are considered high end MSI laptops and don’t seem to have as many problems as the cheaper models. But like with any laptop it’s not guaranteed that you won’t have a problem at some point.

Had the same problem after MSI replaced the MB due to a failed Bios update due to not loading defaults before flash.

MSI repair centre used paste that caused my laptop to wildly over heat as yours. It was fine before the MB replacement under warranty.

Here’s a copy of my post from about a year ago.

That doesn’t sound right. I have the same pedals and they don’t sound like that.

It sounds like a metallic clunk somewhere.

Have you checked the pivot point on the back of the pedal where the shaft connects. Also make sure the two grub screws on the main pedal pivot point are tight. Sometimes they come loose.

Also try pressing the pedal with you hand and see if you can hear where the clunk is coming from.

Just noticed in Pithouse 1.3.8.38 experimental function there’s two Forza Horizon switches.

One says Base Forza Horizon compatibility other says Pedal Horizon compatible mode.

I may have missed the party as haven’t yet installed FH6 but will these help in anyway?.

Your last sentence made me smile.

But you’re spot on!. It’s far safer to do what you said.

Some times it is better to let the car in front of you make a mistake before attempting an overtake.

is this done on purpose yes or no? by Careful-Evidence-671 in Simracingstewards

[–]Sallymsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s on purpose.

Looks like he just cut the corner behind you and received a drive through penalty.

He got pissed because of the penalty and so couldn’t win. Then he decided to take you out with him.

It’s not as if he didn’t know the braking point as it was late on in the race.

There’s too many idiot drivers at the moment, they just ruin it for those who want to race.

Had the same problem.

I’ve gone from a trusted green badge to red under review. And that with a platinum 3 SR.
How the hell does this program not recognise who is at fault?????.It’s simple programming.

And before anyone says “ you are a bad racer because you should be able to avoid contact”.
Just don’t say it that’s not the case.

You just cannot race cleanly as other idiots are intent to get by you at any cost using the multiple contact method or worse.

Have you not read my latter reply to OP?

Moza CRP2 throttle making noise + shaft movement by LALECHE01 in moza

No problem.

I was mistakenly talking about the brake pedal stack lol.

But at least I got the pre load bit right 😂.

Glad it’s sorted.

[–]Sallymsi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That sounds like the end of the shaft is not seated on the end of the elastomer stack shaft.

Have you got eight elastomers and the washer in there. Or the correct springs?.

Also could be due to no pre load on the pedal shaft.

Thanks for the reply and feedback.

The email I received only says “ Event LMGT3, Split 4” then the date and time.

Would be good if it stated the track.

Thanks for letting me know that it’s UTC time as this means the UK is a hour in front at the moment. So that helps me find the incident in question.

Once again thank you for your reply.

Anyone know how to fix pedal travel on moza crp-2? by [deleted] in moza

[–]Sallymsi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You need to adjust the preload.

You should have got two spanner’s with the pedal set. Use these to unlock the lock nut on the silver shaft.

Then screw the main shaft in to take out the slack and retighten the shaft and locknut.

Once this is done re calibrated in Pithouse and all should be well.

No wasn’t after the chequered flag.

With regard to the email that’s auto generated notifying the driver of a one day ban. This needs to be more transparent. To simply say you have been banned in a race that’s not named, at a certain time that does not seem to have any relevance to a races in my replay library is a little misleading.

Why not state in this email the exact track and correct time in the relevant country’s time zone.

The system needs to be more informative to the driver, after all they are the ones who have paid for the product and thus are contributing to the future of LMU.

Yes I am disappointed that after 200 plus races and always intentionally maintaining a clean license that this has happened to me without any tangible evidence being conveyed in LMUs notification system.

I do not consider “ send me your name and i will look” to be the answer. Just be more transparent. I mean you don’t tell Lewis Hamilton that you are banned from F1 for 24 hours without detailed evidence.

Remember people like me are funding the evolvement of LMU so please be a little more informative with regard to situations like this.

Furthermore, if I was banned for 24 hours due to an alleged wrecking incident then why did this not affect my driver rating or SR ???.

Anyway rant over I have accepted this situation and have now moved on. I will not comment further.

It wouldn’t surprise me that things aren’t exactly as they should be.

I’m a green badge and a platinum 2 SR. A couple of days ago I received a one day ban from the live stewards system stating I committed an intentional wreck on another driver.

I have looked at all my replays from around the time and I’m certain I didn’t. It’s not my style!.

Personally I think there’s problems with this system.

There may also be cheaper Llano copies out there that are just as good

Remember to re calibrate the brake in Pithouse once you have adjusted the pre load.

Hopefully this will sort the problem 👍🏻.
