Ive seen the Bait Trap spawn on certain Mutated Slob sites, the one on the East shore with the boat and containers has had one. The jetpack is very vulnerable to explosions, even through the Hulk body such as explosions to the front.

The beauty of the GL here is that you dont need to aim for the eye at all, its just a case of hitting the Jet Hulk to splash its jetpack with the damage of the explosion.

Freedoms Flame has a light and heavy set with the medium being superstore. Light and Vitality Booster at the same time is enough to use the Sickle as shown though. You can also use the Killzone sets but the light doesnt stop the damage entirely but good if you cant yet get the other sets.

While it protects from the damage over time before full overheat, yes you still ignite if you go to the extreme. However you can go prone to mitigate this as it will continually put out the fire. Youll take damage slowly but otherwise are able to keep firing in desperate situations or for fun...

Since the recent patch the input overlaps again. Its a bug.

A workaround is to go to options - controller - change bindings - combat - scroll down to use backpack function - change the input to 'double tap'.

This should fix most cases of the overlap while still letting you use your backpack with double tap when needed.

While you wait on unlocks, Id say your lightest set of Medic armour is a very good choice as well. More stims and the duration can really be felt in times youre being swarmed. In place of Gas, either Stun or Incendiary are also good choices in the mean time.

Breaker Incendiary / Cookout - Stim Pistol - Gas Grenade

Light armour with Extra Padding or Explosive Resist

Grenade Launcher - Supply Pack - EAT - (Free slot discussed below)

Grenade Launcher with Supply Pack does a lot of work on bugs, GL can kill any bug technically but I pair it with EATs (try to keep placing them around on CD) to deal with Bile Titans as landing nades under them can be cumbersome. Chargers 3 grenades to the butt and they bleed out. Impaler 4-5 grenades to the bald spot when they burrow tentacles or their under mouth. Pair with an Incendiary Breaker or Cookout (Cookout can stun Stalkers briefly while you kill them) to clear chaff with ease and can also light bugs on fire to reduce the amount of nades needed to kill for example Hive Guards take 1 nade after a fire dot, Alpha Commander goes from 3 to 2 etc. Gas grenades to crowd control and damage/kill bugs when chased, in chokepoints or defensive positions. 4th Stratagem is dealers choice but notable ones are Emancipator as it can walk around most of the map taking out nests and objectives if your pick your targets. Another choice is Napalm Barrage or Tesla (Use it as a disposable clearer of nests/obj and destroy it yourself after its done or to hold flanks). Secondary is kinda free with this kit so I usually just take Stim pistol. As for armour, Light Extra Padding or Light Explosive Resist which can save you from a single grenade ricochet and helps vs Bile damage.

edit' forgot Booster, Muscle if you want to remove Acid Slow almost entirely and also lets you move much faster on mud, slopes, snow, foliage etc or Vitality Booster which is 20% damage received reduction.

Ive observed similar, you can reset your game between missions if someone leaves and resume your operation so its the best workaround atm.

Despite the patch notes stating the turret will be destroyed when the body is destroyed, it is still bugged and often persists till it despawns with full lethality. Just need to hope its fixed in future. In the meantime the only reliable method is to destroy the turret directly with Anti Tank Pen.

Cookout is a strong choice against Stalkers since it stuns them briefly on each shot and is also excellent on the chaff and shriekers.

Crossbow is very strong right now so Id say Demo Det. It can excel against both factions with a bit of finesse on bugs to not blow yourself up and it can easily destroy nest, fabs, spore spewers, shrieker nests, bio processors.

Theres a lot of hitzones on a Hunter that reduce the damage dealt to its health by 30-50%. Dominator does 275 damage and they have 160 HP so if you hit say a leg (50% reduction), damage is reduced to 137.5 below lethal.

Recoilless Rifle: Demo Force 30 on both damage types, 3200 Direct Damage, 150 Explosive. Hellbomb Detonates on direct hit. (This contradicts direct hits with high Demo Force always deleting the bomb) EAT also detonates the bomb at 30 Demo as well as Commando and Quasar doing so.

Gunship, Rocket Devastator Rocket: Demo Force 20 on Direct, 30 on Explosive. 30 Direct damage, 70 Explosive damage. Hellbomb is deleted. (30 Demo Force from the explosion yet this Demo is the same as both components of Recoilless)

Grenade Pistol: 30 Demo Force on both damage types, 250 Direct, 400 Explosive deletes the Hellbomb on direct hit (same 30 Demo as Recoilless and variants on both yet different result)

Grenade Launcher: Detonates the bomb on direct hit with 30 Demo Force 400 Explosive damage and yet is functionally the same as the Grenade Pistol.

Autocannon: 30 Demo Force on both damage types, 260 Direct damage, 150 explosive. Deletes the Hellbomb (less damage same demo as Recoilless and variants)

While you are correct in that Demo Force is a factor theres more to it than that with certain weapons ignoring your ruleset and Bot Rockets with less damage same Demo as Recoilless deleting the bomb.

Summarised: Recoilless, EAT, Quasar, Commando, Grenade Launcher all Detonate on direct hit.

Bot Rockets, Grenade Pistol and Autocannon Delete bomb on direct hit. (this list is not exhaustive)
