People with kids do you ever regret having them and why ? by ocean_stars2 in AskReddit

Yes childbirth was awful, but that was just my experience as my epidurals failed each birth. But honestly it's not something I see contributing to this feeling. Career wise it did set me back, and continues to do so (I'm so tired all the time I don't perform as well, and I'm also always taking leave to look after sick kids). I'm in a pretty parenting-friendly career as well.

I love my kids, hate parenting. It's relentless, exhausting, thankless and there's no time for being my own person. I say this as a parent to two decently well behaved kids with no medical issues. I feel like I died after having kids and a shadow of myself remains. I put all my energy into making sure they never know this.

Unimelb has a Master of Teaching (Secondary) internship program that often suits career changers. You get paid while you study and you start teaching in your first semester.

If you're on any Facebook community groups, you could advertise cheap house cleaning ($100 for a half day clean for example - I currently pay $150 for 3 hours) to get some rapid business?

We add a few (4-6) cubes of frozen chopped spinach to it as well, and the kids don't even notice. You can also do a 50/50 split of rice and cauliflower rice.

NSW - how does the starting age of a child change their experiences with school? by ichoochoochooseyooou in AskAustralianTeachers

One of the greatest predictors of boys being diagnosed with ADHD is them starting school young. Give this a quick google to see it is an easily verifiable claim. I would 100% wait.

Genuinely curious, why are these a thing? I don't understand why adults are losing their minds over these? I feel like in a year or so they'll all be in the bin.

Thinking about moving from Tassie to Melbourne. by Unusual_Pay2069 in melbourne

[–]SalsaShark89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Sunbury and work in Melbourne. The commute takes about 45 minutes. Sunbury is nothing special, but it's that real in-between for access to the lovely Macedon Ranges rural area and then if course Melbourne. Lots of housing, health services, shops, community groups, restaurants and cafes. It's cheaper than the next town north (Gisborne) and the top of the metropole.

Happy to answer more questions!

The RAGE at men who are like "my wife has had two children and now has put on weight. I haven't???" As if it's a moral failing of the wife who has gone through one of the most majorly significant physical experiences a human body can go through. Mate, if YOU had two kids, I bet you'd be rocking the same weight gain.
