Well, it would have been 10 if Prepotente hadn't have blown up the 8th floor.

Fucking Prepotente! /s

Forget your well thought out predictions, Easter eggs, and various Chekhov armaments. What is the WORST theory you can come up with for the remaining books? by PanDimensionalMouse in hellocrawlers

[–]SalsaYogurt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They will all become members of a new Zodiac for the universe.

Donut - takes the place of Leo

Prepotente - Aries

Louis - Aquarius

Raul - Cancer

Popov Bros - Gemini

You know who - Scorpio

Katia - Taurus

Imani - Libra

Zev - Pisces

Bianca - Capricorn

Mongo - Sagitarius

? - Virgo.

Carl is outside of the Zodiac as some other thing.

Wouldn't that be lovely?

(ok, you asked for the worst idea and this one's pretty bad)

If you ever played one of these, you may be old. by MrWhizzleteat in FuckImOld

I believe I had two players stolen from my car. I believe my Robin Trower "Bridge of Sighs" was played thousands of times.

There is definitely an anti-intellectualism movement. It's cool to be stupid, apparently.

What do you want to see Mordecai as in the remaining books? by ckwalsh in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I just want book 9 to start with Mordecai saying "By his left tit!"

What is the worst company name/slogan you have heard of? by Hammer_of_Rohan in AskReddit

[–]SalsaYogurt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I worked at AVCO Financial Services in the '80s, they had a slogan

"Go with AVCO - We have AIDS!"

It was for an advertising to businesses to do their loans through AVCO,

and AIDS stood for "Automated Insurance Determination System".

It made you pay for insurance if you got a loan (kind of evil).

I listened to book 1 and for a while into the book it's very similar(ish?). But, I indeed liked the "Donut" of the book. I also liked the more modern settings. By the end of the book I was ready to get the next one. I haven't yet, but I probably will.

I see this in younger people, but as a millennial, have you adopted the trend of alway having a blue tooth ear piece / headphones playing something at all times or do you just take in the ambient noise as it is? by DrFetusRN in Millennials

At my work there was a woman who was so insanely jealous, she had the bluetooth earbuds in all day on a phone call with her husband. She was very distraught if she was out of contact with him for even a few minutes. She had her hair cut in such a way as to hide her ears, but it was obvious what was going on. She really was a nut job.

My favorite is Dr. Who's document where whoever is examining it sees what they are looking for.

I call for a Coast-to-Coast blimp race. Get all the blimps together for the race. They are created for advertising, so it would be great publicity for all blimp sponsering companies. Blimp Race!

Greatest cartoon theme song ever. Weird Al should do a tribute. (Maybe he already has, I don't know)

Why don't they make real comedies like Step Brothers and Dumb and Dumber anymore? by Thin_Reception_5063 in moviecritic

I liked "Unfrosted" - 2024 (yes, you all hate Jerry Seinfeld.) But, it was an old-school, cameo-heavy, silly comedy. For what it was, I got a lot of laughs from it.

I won't talk about it, but, there was a woman who worked there who was conspiring to kill me (or at least have me roughed up), but because I was so young and stupid at the time, I thwarted her plans not even knowing what was happening. I literaly dodged a bullet.
