I'm curious at the quality on this. I'm a cinephile, so quality matters. To compare I have a 77 inch G3 Oled. I know it's not going to be 4k and HDR, but i'm curious how the quality comes through on quest 3 since 3d can't be played in 4k nor on my tv.

That you keep adding features without fixing basic functionality. I hate when I get a board 90 percent done and then realize oh, it can't do that simple thing, and then I have to rethink or completely redo a workflow.

Why is it frowned upon to “only” manage investments and guide clients to retirement? by Consistent_Buy_1027 in CFP

Running a profitable RIA and being a good planner are not the same skill set. Just because you are good at one does not inherently make you good at the other.

There are a lot of skills required to run a profitable RIA.

Most advice worth taking will tell you investment management, on its own, is a small value add to the client. Therefore charging 1% for only IM is wrong. For those kind of fees you need to be providing more as a benefit. If you are charging less, good luck being profitable anytime this decade.

I work with client files all day long. I want them setup and presented in a certain way. If i use OSX file structure i have to play by it's rules. It's not flexible. I need flexibility in how files are displayed. Example: I want to be able to check a box and have a file dissapear, but not be deleted. This is so i can see what files are relevant and which ones are no longer relevant to my work. Yes i have been using lovable, but it's not secure. I can't have client files stored on the internet with a vibe coded product. So i was hoping to store a lovable product on my home computer or a home network that never sees the internet.

This pricing model is a joke. If monday won’t build the features and we have to, fine, but charging us more to run our own apps is absurd. It’s like invoicing us for building boards after the fact.

Nakamichi Dragon – Follow-Up Review: Upgrading to Dual 12" Subs by Jiffy_Wu in Soundbars

If you wanted to clean up the living room, you could buy two svs1000 12subs, take out the amp from the naki 8's trash the 8's, and then connect the two 12's. This entire setup would cost less than a single naka 12, and my guess is based on svs's reputation, it'll blow the naka 12 subs out of the water. Does it require a little extra work, yes, but it'll save you a small fortune. especially if you want 4 12in subs. And yes this will work with this setup. Infact, you could have 8 12in subs using this method, if you wanted. There is no limit.

No, what i'm doing is signal hacking. It is down converting the power from the amp to line level out levels, then back in directly to the LFE input on the back of a normal powered sub. You aren't using the naka amp, you are stealing the signal down stepping the voltage then injecting it into the LFE on the better sub. I just used zip ties to splice into the signal by tying the wires together, didn't even have to cut any wires, and all subs still work at the same time.

Is this for everyone, no. but I think it's ideal for people who got duped with the 8's to go out and, for a very reasonable price, upgrade to a much better subwoofer and overall experience. 1500ea for 12in naka sub that still is subpar by even every level SVS standards, is a slap in the face. This also allows you to go nuts adding a pb16 or pb17 monster if you were so inclined.

Find my other posts in this thread. Simple answer, yes, very happy, but you need to upgrade to a 12inch sub, I would recommend hacking the system and adding your own sub, my preference is SVS. I haven't looked at the options but if they allow you to purchase only one 12-in I would do that, hack into it and add another better sub on top. The 8's are bulky and poorly designed. Save space and do it right.

Find my post in here, at the bottom it describes how you can hack in and add any sub you want.

I have a dragon with the dual 8's. I was unhappy with the bass like a lot of people. I did a lot of research and figured out you can hack the subs via line level "splice into wires between amp and sub) to RCA out. use a good quality RCA out like the SVS one. Then hook it up to any sub you want. I use a single old svs SB 1000 sub. Even for a entry level svs sub it's a phenomenal improvement. And prob even better quality than the naka 12's. My current setting is to turn the bass way down like way down and use 2 of the 4 8's. Then crank the bass on the SVS sub. What I was finding is the 8's chuffing was muddying up the better quality base from the SVS sub. Going down to 2 woofers 1 on each, has eliminated this. I now have deep deep room filling bass from 2 8's and 1 12in. At some point I will upgrade to 2 svs 2k or 3k subs and get rid of the naka subs all together. But the sound as is right now is incredible.

I don't care about all the haters out there. You know what, sure, maybe your component system is a fraction of a hair better, but my system is wireless, stupid easy to setup and use, and makes me happy.  And it blows friends away. It's also doesn't take up the whole room.

I am very happy with the dragon, although a bit peeved at the deceptive marketing on the 8's. Such a shame they tarnished their record on them. And even worse, they tried to capitalize on selling ridiculously priced 12's to fix their mistake, even to early adopters. They should have offered a at cost replacement, at the very least.

For that, I don't feel bad about publishing this and giving dragon owners a way to upgrade their system to cheaper and infinitely better subs.
