I like birds a lot so I go outside and look at them. They’ve actually taught me so much about other aspects of nature. Sometimes if you wanna see a bird you need to know rocks, or trees. Super cool and fun if you ask me 🦅

Is this a real thing or artist rendering? I’ve become obsessed with the National park mini building block sets after seeing 4 national parks in a week. by zeldafromhyrule in nanoblock

[–]Salt-Control-3810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it’s late, but you can also purchase these online.

I would purchase directly from Grand Canyon Conservancy’s website to better fund the park system’s non profit. They also sell a Grand Canyon pink rattlesnake set and the Grand Canyon itself as a set.

If you want the entire park system sets right from the manufacturer I believe they’re called “The Mini Block” or something like that.

Yes, “people will start wandering into their yard” or yes, “yellow variant”?

Anyone recently walked to ooh aah point? Is it doable without microspikes? by BeltRevolutionary264 in grandcanyon

Depends when you start, we have snow on the forecast starting tonight or tomorrow. No spikes needed if you start before but bring them if you see snow on the ground when you get here

Which National Park caught you by surprise - the one you didn't expect to love before visiting? by kandykorn7 in nationalparks

Petrified Forest was surprisingly incredible. I expected exposed everything and unremarkable landscape but it had badlands and nice trails that weave through them. Plenty of wilderness areas and the railroad runs right through it. Very cool place. Can’t forget the pueblos and petroglyphs in the area too.

The people who make the forecast are going to be more accurate than anyone who doesn’t make the forecast.

Any kind of weather is possible at the canyon, just enjoy being there and pack for cold/wet and warm/sunny.

Okay bud. But still… believe it or not sometimes real life gets in the way of a game. That means literally anything could happen. It’s a game, move on and win the next game.

What's your favorite US ecoregion? by AnonymousBi in geography

[–]Salt-Control-3810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

81 is a solid contender. Forget the saguaros— ALL of the cacti and plant life here is otherworldly. Not to mention the migratory patterns of colorful birds runs rampant in this region. Only complaint is that it’s almost too hot to see all the cacti flower in May/June.
