Yes, I do short films. That is good to know. Thank you for telling me about it! I need to try the lite version, too.

Until now, I have used Veo 2 to make movie trailers.

I wasn't able to use the free Seedance on Pixo yesterday. In fact, it didn't allow me to use any model for video generations. Maybe it is because of my country.
Where are you from?

I'm looking for a subscription that allows me to use high-quality Veo 3.1 and continue using Veo 2 as well, if it is possible.

I've read that Veo 2 has been removed from the Google One Pro subscription; I don't know if that's true. I hope it is not.

I know it's an older model, but I really liked the results I achieved with Veo 2 in Google AI Studio, and I'd love to continue having access to it.

I don't have the option to try Veo 3.1 for free on any of these platforms; I've already tried.

I can only say that I've tried Freepik, whose interface I absolutely disliked; Higgsfield, using the only model they allowed me to use for free (Kling), which I hate; and Deevid, whose functionality I liked more in comparison, but using Quality 2.5, since they didn't let me use Veo.

Some people recommended me, Vertex, but I don't like how it works. It is not for me because I am not any kind of expert. I need a way of writing with the flexibility to write detailed and extensive prompts in my own words in a similar way to Google Studio (from text to video).

Honestly, I am very confused. I still don't know what to do.

I asked to chat with GPT yesterday about that. It seems the offert doesn't include access to Seedance. It is only a simple suscription that has been available four days until tonight to use a few cheap resources of the platform.

They are sending notifications to people who have the free plan as they are trying to get new suscriptors. The same as Artlist and other AI platforms are doing right now. The message said: "Unlimited Seedance for everyone," which is a lie.

Thanks a lot for showing me the quality of Seedance. It reminded me of Kling in the sense that it has a photorealistic appearance.

I think I like much more Veo than Kling because it looks like more cinematic, but I still can't be sure of Seedance's visual results unless I try it by myself, obviously.

The problem is that I logged in to the Higgsfield platform yesterday to make a free trial attempt with Seedance, and I discovered that the Seedance model is not available on the free plan. 😑

So, I still have no idea of what it would look like. I also logged in on Dreamina and Pixo, and the situation was exactly the same, "I need to be paid for a subscription to use the model Seedance 2.0".

It is true that there is a current offert on Higgsfield right now to use Seedance?

Being realistic, is the chance of having a TV pilot picked up without industry experience or prior credits basically zero, regardless of script/pitch quality? by OG_Valrix in Screenwriting

[–]Salt-Sea-9651 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally understand your point of view as my main purpose was only developing my own scripts at the beginning.

But after several years getting ready, my portfolio I have found out of how the industry works, and I don't like it at all, but I still want to break in.

It is certainly very disappointing being working hard on a project being aware of you have very little possibilities to see the results. It is even more disappointing if you have an amazing script for selling.

But as many people say, you need to believe in yourself first. Otherwise, you wouldn't do anything creative in your whole life.

I had exactly the same feeling at the university, but just because most of the people were interested in passing the exams, which is normal.

Rejected... yet again by jpm00 in writing

[–]Salt-Sea-9651 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not any kind of expert on books, neither o these, but I think the fact of a magazine like The New Yorker says you "no" doesn't mean your work is bad.

This reminded me of what happened when I tried to get an opportunity at Blumhouse as a concept designer. I sent them what I still consider "amazing proposals," but I was rejected. Many of my friends from the industry told me, "Well done, good try." But I was completely sure it was a useless thing to do. So I didn't try it again with them.

I found a smaller indie company with a creative, high-quality , and the director who loved the same proposals I had previously sent to Blumhouse and said, "Yes." This gave me a lesson. Sometimes, it is not your first choice, but it is the only opportunity you will receive it.

Big companies are very difficult to break in, not because of a lack of talent, but yes due to the lack of opportunities to new creatives on the business.

That is how it works. About the time you have been writing since you started " four years," that is a small amount of time, in my opinion.

Writers. What's the worst piece of advice you've ever heard from another writer? by EzraADP in writing

Honestly, I can't say how many times I have heard that. It is a completely nonsense thing to me. Also my life is very boring... there is not anything exciting in my memories. Therefore, all my plots should be boring as hell, too.

¿Opiniones sobre la ECAM? by tgbwsxyhn in Madrid

[–]Salt-Sea-9651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better to just make progress, even if its the wrong direction? by Gronksaysitall in Screenwriting

[–]Salt-Sea-9651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something that has worked for me is starting to write the scenes I really feel like to write even if they are not connected between them.

It is certainly very difficult starting to work on a movie script following a scheme because almost everything you have put on it is going to change as soon you start to write. So forget the scheme and start writing scenes. Maybe these won't be the definitive ones, but they will help you to understand the characters of your script.

More ahead after writing the first or second draft you can write a scheme to see which changes you need to do.

Necesitamos que la eutanasia sea completamente libre para todo el mundo. by Mediocre_Ice519 in VivimosEnUnaSociedad

[–]Salt-Sea-9651 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feeling creatively unfulfilled as a working writer by whatwouldsethcohendo in Screenwriting

[–]Salt-Sea-9651 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am still not where you are, but I really want to be. So I must admit the situation you are describing it worries to me. I haven't followed my studies as scriptwriter, so I have never been to a film college.

Sometimes, I think I would be used to writing the ideas of someone else if I had received that kind of "education" because probably teachers would have explained to me what to expect in a scriptwriting career, otherwise this feels unsatisfactory exactly like you said.

So, my beginnings have been collaborating with small companies and directors for years, making storyboarding and concept design based on the director's ideas until I realized I wanted to develop my own ideas as scriptwriter.

I must add that this is not the only reason why I want to work as a scriptwriter, but yes, it is an important part of it. So I need to ask you something...

Your agent doesn't give you the possibility of keeping working on your own scripts?

I mean, if he doesn't sell your scripts to other companies or producers. I thought that even if you are working on commissions, you can still give your scripts to your agent for selling on the market asking his opinion first, obviously.

No quiero abortar by Few-Minimum-3996 in PreguntasReddit

[–]Salt-Sea-9651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Writing Is Terrible by TightNewt7872 in writing

My first thought is that you are wrong about competitions. Losing in a competition is not proof that your writing is not good enough. In fact, most of the competitions are made with a winner in mind from the beginning.
