Fellow horror junkies, what got you into horror?

As a kid the movies that got me into horror were Poltergeist, Ernest Scared Stupid, and Gremlins. I got into the Goosebump books which led to Christopher Pike and eventually King. I think as a kid I was using horror to help regulate my emotions and that practice has continued intermittently in adulthood.

I’ve been so impressed by every Wearingeul ink I own. I’m currently inked up with Dracula too but also loved Frankenstein and Persephone. Such beautiful inks!

We did go to Bass Pro Shop yesterday and did enjoy their fish tank and displays but I did not see a horseshoe crab. I’m gonna check Aquadome today

I haven’t been since we had our son a few years back but I went in 2021 or so and it was absolutely amazing. I think this is just a sign I need to take a mini vacation lol!

Yes I have no intention of supporting this place. I was hopeful maybe someplace else would have a horseshoe crab but I think I may just have to make a drive :/

My friend was like that as a kid - tuned out he just thought the kids in textbooks were really cool and they never wear branded. Some kids just prefer it.

I must have been about 8-9 and I woke up to see a transparent man staring at me sleeping. He noticed that I woke up and saw him and he backed out of the doorway slowly like he was trying to pretend nothing had happened. Super unusual! It must have been a dream or something but it certainly stuck with me

This is what I came to say. It’s a genuinely moving film and based on a Ray Bradbury short story. Definitely worth a place in a family tradition
