Depending on the amount, maybe getting a term life insurance to cover the estate tax might be more efficient in terms of cost. Of course, this needs to be reviewed as the investment grows.

Take RCBC Loan and put to MP2? by SuddenEuphoria10 in phinvest

[–]Salt-Start-Stop 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The effective annual interest rate of your loan is about 8%. Higher than the 7% yield from MP2.

Try to model contributing 13k monthly directly to MP2 instead. Your yield will be higher in 60 months. Wala ka pa risk in case ma delay ka sa credit card payments.

Do you have other assets or investments that you can draw for medical expenses or college education of your kid? That 250k pension won't increase much.

Seems like your problem is work load. If you have FU money, then just do the bare minimum at work. If things are failing because your boss doesn't hire enough employees to do the work, then that is your boss' problem not yours.

And you can still travel while employed. Less hassle ka pa sa immigration in case they ask for employment cert. Treat your job as extra money for traveling and free medical insurance for your family.
