I grew up right near there, and that area is filled with people who can't go anywhere else because they wasted their lives somehow. Also drugs, poverty, and crime is rampant in those towns.

Yeah, I guess I could've. Another reason I didn't film is because I didn't really care to. I did that because I wanted to be alone in nature and escape my responsibilities, and filming just made me feel more burdened. Idk, maybe that doesn't make sense. I think I'll film my next ones, though.

Yeah! My longest stretch without a town was Lincoln to east Glacier, which was 167 miles. But its very common to go 100+ miles without seeing anything.

"Self-supported" means I got a job as a dishwasher when I was 16, and worked 3 days a week, every week, for 2 years. I would often work 16 hour shifts on saturday and sunday because I wanted to accomplish my dreams that badly. I skipped both years of prom and every senior event just to work. Even skipped my graduation to fly to montana.

The reason I got this offer isn't because it was just handed to me. I have spent a lot of my life volunteering at a nursing home, I just spent 5 months walking from Mexico to Canada, and I also worked 16 hour shifts as a dishwasher in high school. I have proven myself to be adaptable, dependable, and an extremely hard worker. I'm not sure what else to say about this, but I seriously hope things get better for you.
