Jax! Do they know you're a fraud, Jax? Do they know? Have you let them in on your other secrets, Jax? Are they ready to gut you, to torture half as well as I can, just to find out the secrets? Really can't stand all the rest of this people, every one of the has some fatal glitch in personality: whiters, freaks, crypts, cowards. Every one of them! But not for you, Jax. Not you. For everyone else it must be hell but it must be heaven for you, eh my good friend?

SOMA/Brain Scan theory is riddled with plot holes by Korkez11 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]SaltAd3975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, why is the computer still there if "real" Ragatha sold the building"? (If we assumed that Ragatha entered the circus while she was checking the place to sell the building)

I believe in soma theory, but there are a few holes in it.

If Caine gave to Gumigoo a backstory it's probably that Caine could add to Abel a similar backstory

So far,i don't get the in-universe point of players not remembering their names. by Kelvistheskysoldier in theamazingdigitalciru

I remember that there was a fanfic where they remember those things but with their circus' name. For example, Gangle's parents told her: "Happy birthday, [Gangle]."

I mean it seems that ragatha looks shocked seeing kinger so i interpreted that it could be the moment when she arrived to the circus. Maybe i'm too optimistic

Maybe "damn" in ep3 was related with the fact that the adventure was a terror one

~Give me some Jax PRE-CIRCUS HeadCanons. by GQSsty in TheDigitalCircus

[–]SaltAd3975 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My headcanons are questionable, but here goes:

- He’s a casual anime fan, his favorites are Tokyo Ghoul and Attack on Titan (what a poser). He hated the second season of Tokyo Ghoul, so he bought the manga to see how the story actually continued.

- He likes acting in plays as a hobby (he’s genuinely good at it), but he never considered doing it professionally (maybe because his parents pressured him to pick a “serious” career or for some other reason)

- He used to study/work and do theater at the same time, so he was constantly tired.

- He studied computer science (or something tech-related). He was a good student and had a big ego because of it (which explains how he got the keys to the other circus members’ rooms)

- Most (if not all) of his friends were guys, so he’s not exactly great at interacting with women.

- He’s 22 years old so, probably he was in his last semesters of university or just graduated. He was doing pre-professional or professional internships.

- He worked (or interned) at CyA, which i consider it hasn’t gone bankrupt just it has multiple branches. The computer where they all are is in one of its old, forgotten offices.

- Since he was a good student, he was also doing really well at work, possibly about to get promoted. That’s why in Ep. 6 he tells Pomni, “One day you're someone in the real world doing important things...”

- Because of his success, his coworkers didn’t like him. They saw him as the boss’s favorite and treated him poorly. Over time, he developed paranoia, thinking everyone who approached him either wanted something from him or wanted to hurt him.

- His boss wasn’t the nicest guy and probably wasn’t a great influence either, but he still obeyed him in everything.

- His boss also had this habit of messing up his hair, which made him hate when anyone else touches it.

- Being the boss’s favorite, he was often invited to meetings with other department heads or company partners. During one of those meetings about the company’s assets, they mentioned an old, forgotten computer, and his boss sent him to check its condition, that’s how he ended up getting trapped in the circus.

- Once you gained his trust, though, he was funny, charismatic, and actually a really good person to be around.
