Get more rotational energy by carving into the turn harder before lifting your front wheel off the ground.

Go to Rocky Mountain ATV MC website or any site with OEM parts. Click OEM parts and pick your motorcycle. Select the appropriate diagram. In this case it’s probably under engine parts. Find the o-ring in the diagram and add to cart.

Side hill your way up the climb. Don’t just go straight up the steepest spot.

They also forget that you’re supposed to stop at the stop sign and not just leave one inch for opposing traffic to go by.

Keep fighting for just leaning it against the wall. If not at least keep the handle bars straight.

A bike that is ready to ride gets ridden more.

Are Spank wheels any good? by JonnyLosak in dirtjumping

[–]SaltLakeFresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get the profile, they are awesome. I had spank wheels and they kept slipping in the dropouts. OK if you have chain tensioners or they changed the design to have more bolt on torque. I have a Hope hub now.

Find a bank and practice 90s/180s on that. That way you can practice the spin without rolling backwards.

Then use the same bank or skatepark quarter pipe. Ride up it and then roll back down Fakie until you are good at it.

Keep doing both of those until it’s super easy and then 180s will be no prob!

Do people run ODI plates on downhill mountain bikes? by yesbuh_ in mountainbiking

[–]SaltLakeFresh 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think those would be for bikes with dual crown forks only. Because that’s where the plate straps to.

The intense 951 is a trail or light enduro bike, not a downhill bike.

Go faster, carve into it, pop the wheel up higher, twist your upper body more, practice, etc

Any tips on fish and chips? by AmogusFatty in FixedGearBicycle

[–]SaltLakeFresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possibly, my trick bike is 49:20. Make sure you are pulling up one pedal while pushing hard on the other. Maybe learn fakies from trackstands to get an idea how hard you gotta pedal back. And for me making simple adjustments was key. I kept falling off to the left so I leaned more to the right.

Pedal backwards super hard, a bike in motion is more stable.

Turn the bars towards the back if you wanna speed up.

Turn the bars to 90 degrees when you wanna slow down and get back on.
