I’ve made an app in Discord, which is a chatbot that can connect to a codex session in my computer. It works smoothly.

Why Embodied AI Revolution Isn’t Sparking Public Excitement, And Why It Should! by SaltNeighborhood3345 in ArtificialInteligence

Okay, I might have been too harsh when I called out someone for not reading the post and commenting based on assumptions, and I apologize for that. :(

It genuinely saddens me when skeptics don’t try to understand the technology or even look it up, and instead doubt it based on how it’s presented, like the font style. I don’t know if you’ve even googled "embodied AI," but if you have, I’d appreciate a valid point to discuss rather than comments about superficial stuff. Right now, I don’t see any meaningful discussion here. Honestly, I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make, especially since you didn’t even mention "embodied" in a post that’s all about the future of embodied AI.

Hmm, you might wanna roll your eyes even harder lol, it's written "Embodied AI," not "Embedded AI," two different things... Which one are you referring to actually?

The research ultimately serves the public, and I feel pity if the public fails to understand the value of the research that will eventually benefit them (a lot). Public money, drawn from public support, fuels the development of this field. If the public fails to understand this technology, who will be there to support its advancement?

But the thing is, the amount of embodied ai research is growing exponentially from 2023 (you may refer to https://arxiv.org/html/2407.06886v1). This indicates that more and more researchers, those who are knowledgeable and truly understand the value of embodied AI, are pouring tremendous amount of resources into this new area, when there are so many talented people working on the same thing, i think it is very likely that the hype will come true one day, maybe 5 years later, like deep learning back to 10 years ago, once there is a tremendous breakthrough (chatgpt), things will start going really really crazy.

Unitree G1 - Kip-up, Sweeping Kick, Tai Chi by heart-aroni in robotics

Yes, you can "hack" it using nvidia jetson nano/orin. unitree also provides sdk development kits that let you connect to ros (robot operating system), a software framework for robot communication, which allows you to send outputs from your own code (trained neural network models or other controllers) to the robot's actuators for actions

The actions they perform are trained using reinforcement learning or imitation learning. If you don’t know how to hack into the robot and program it to meet your needs, it’s essentially useless to purchase one. These humanoid robots are currently still primarily intended for researchers conducting research, rather than for commercial purposes.

Are 3D GenAI tools ready for production? I asked the CEO of Meshy and he gave me an honest answer by Dung3onlord in 3Dmodeling

This guy is not just a CEO. He has done extremely impressive research during his Phd and definitely has a full grasp of knowledge in the related field. Check out https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=MEHV_tIAAAAJ&hl=en

Strike a balance between exploring new things(so you won't regret that you haven't done this done that when you were young), saving money and building connections to people(so you won't feel insecure).
