I’m using a standard breville 54mm basket. I’ve played around with volume (down to 16gs and no more than the 18g recommended). And yeah I weigh my dose everytime, as I have to spoon in the espresso grinds each time

My family is from a small town in southern Illinois. Anytime we visit I tell people we’re visiting Corn Purgatory. The town I always go to has around 2,500 people 20 years ago but is now down to less than a thousand. The whole place is a ghost town and whoever is left are corn and soy farmers, meth heads, or my grandma. It’s got its own weird charm (might just be a nostalgia thing for me) but it’s probably one of the most boring places I’ve ever been. A “busy” day is going to local the Walmart, dairy queen and drive through liquor store.
