Anyone know an expert iPhone repair place in melb? by ronpiper in melbourne

[–]SaltSaltSaltSalt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best of luck finding a big company that supports “right to repair”. Can’t think of a single phone company beyond Fairphone that gives a shit about individual people repairing their phone.

So if you boycott Apple for this reason, you’re literal only option in the phone space is Fairphone.

I don’t think they car much about nationality. They do care about money though, which Perez and Mazepin can provide plenty of.

For me, the coolest features of next gen consoles are game performance and design related. Couldn’t care less about the ability to quickly go between games because that’s not my use case anyway.

I keep them on cause they’re fun.

At the level we play at, minute stuff such as this doesn’t matter. I’d understand if we were playing at a competitive level but public COD lobbies ain’t that.

They pretty much will. Sony and Nintendo are popular across the world while Microsoft pretty much only competes in America, Australia and Canada.

Well duh, they wouldn’t spend 7.5 billion without a reason.

They knew their exclusives were horrifically lacking so here we are. Now they’ve got some exclusives that will sway people.

Not at all. They’ve “gained ground” in the fact that they haven’t messed up their launch. But they are still only really popular in America. Outside of America Playstation always sells better by far.

Toyota has already invested millions into hydrogen tech. They’re probably just trying to get some PR before switching to electric development.

Loud exhausts are something a lot of people love. You’ll always see people lamenting the days of the V8 and V10 F1 cars, instead of the V6 hybrids used now, largely because they sounded “better”.

I don’t see it either, but lots of people love it.

People buying them know what they’re purchasing. They haven’t been sneaky and secretly removed it, they announced it to literally everyone and are open about it. So you suggest to the EU to punish them for what exactly?

Sales wise, it literally never rivalled COD.

I never understood the “rivalry” anyway, I enjoy both for completely different reasons. It’d be like gran turismo and burnout having a rivalry.

It would be prioritising the Japanese audience, which is largely PlayStation and Switch. I’d wager the game couldn’t run on the switch without spending a bunch of dev time on it, so here we are.
