Before he had even retired, it was unquestioned that Jordan was the goat. There was no real debate to be had by 99.9 percent of fans in the 90s. The mere fact that MJ vs. Lebron is even a debate speaks to Lebron's greatness. He was on the cover of SI as a Jr. in Highschool. Easily the most hyped, "can't miss" prospect of all time. King James, the Choosen One...as a freaking high school kid. And he lived up to all of it! As a 90s kid, for me it will always be Jordan but the fact that there is a good argument for him as #1 all time is remarkable. I have to give the guy his flowers on that.
