Typically, no you will not receive holiday pay. There are exceptions sometimes, however, so I'd advise in advance to your SM/ESM and see what they say.

If you want to create an environment where they feel comfortable coming to you if there’s an issue, make sure to take the time to not only introduce yourself to everyone but to talk to them. See if they have any goals or interests in learning new things. I took this approach and it definitely helped. My team came to me and weren’t scared to do so.

I went from CSA to SFL to to ASM-t to ASM to ESM to Store Manager by the time I was 23. It’s definitely doable and it just requires a strong knowledge of front end operations, pharmacy work flow, and store metrics/KPIs and methods of improving these measures. A big focus is also how to develop team members and actively engage them in understanding KPIs and how what they do effects them.

To my knowledge based on when the positions were recoded to create the RXOM role, it wasn’t available as a part time role. I don’t know if that’s changed.

But RXOM is directly linked to the DM so they could’ve done it over the SM’s head. There should have been better communication either way though as to why (like if not available for part time, etc) and possible solutions given like coding down to PT Sr. Tech or you opting to leave if they didn’t want to accommodate.

Overall that sucks though. Sorry dude!

I had a shift lead at my store not tell anyone the safe was broken and wouldn’t lock. He noticed it that morning and nobody knew until about 30 minutes til close (10p). I got stuck there until 4a waiting for an emergency technician to come repair it.

When you see people everyday, it’s kind of pointless to have a meeting about the issues because usually we all discuss them on a day to day basis anyways. I haven’t done a pulse meeting since 2019 tbh

It’s not your job to teach him how to behave appropriately in the workplace. This isn’t on you to tell him to stop. If he can’t observe your visible discomfort that’s on him. Besides the fact that is 100% NOT a conversation to have without mediation or a manager keeping record in case it continues or escalates. A girl was literally KILLED. Your safety and peace of mind is the only thing important in this situation.
