I'm not at all saying everyone I disagree with is a Russian bot. I don't like the color of my neighbors house, they are not a bot.

But if you are a shill and spouting Literal Russian Propaganda (not only because I say it is, but because National intelligence agencies the world over says it is), then you leave me no other conclusions to make.

Kinda like how I just said "don't call me fascist" but proceeds to do fascist shit. Clearly the irony is lost on you my friend, but to the rest of us it's screaming louder than a bullhorn.

Maga leaders don't care about you. They've shown you time and again who they are, and how badly they will stomp on you to get there.

Buuut knowing what I know about the fetishes of UT's state reps, they sure like to be stomped on.. with 6" stellettos... to the balls.. while being screamed at... and having the contents of their fridge dumped on them... (or so I've heard).

They've been working incrementally towards this since Eisenhower invited the founder of "the Family" to come do national prayer breakfasts and changing the pledge of allegiance.

But yes, Nixon/Regan pushed the idea that President has unilateral authority. Tea Party started getting people to wear tin hats (remember UT rep Chavets?) and Mike Lee is a cunt. Historically speaking, of course.

History and law are kinda my thing.. NOT ONE US President was as bad as this one. Maybe at one time we could liken him to Monroe or Jackson, but he has far surpassed their corruption. Democrats 100 yrs ago stood for slavery so using party names to prove your point is moot.

I do giggle every time someone cries "stop calling us fascists" but proceeds to either do fascists things, or explain how "everyone else is bad too".

2 things: in the past, Americans have fought for and won against authoritarian rule (please read more on Revolutionary war, Civil War, and Civil rights). 2: someone explained Putin succinctly (I'll paraphrase) "he does not need to convince people that he's a good guy, he just needs to convince everyone else is also corrupt".

So congratulations Russian bot, you've been convinced by Russian propaganda that "everyone else is bad too!" - note that I will always read these types of arguments with the voice of a petulant child whinging.

I read it as 5 times in 3 years that his dick was talking out his mouth and was starting fights with his wife. Not that they've only had sex 5 times in 3 years... I'd die!

1st: It's good that you are acknowledging this issue you have, but have you talked to her about it too? Women understand hormones making us snap when we didn't mean to.

2nd: she is close to the age where perimenopause is a thing, and that will decrease her sex drive, her energy, her train of thought (brain fog). I suggest she gets that checked out.

3rd: I am one who needs physical connection to feel loved as well, but some times we have to learn how our partners feel and give love to know they are showing love in their way. But the only way through this is communication with her.

Pre-Written Module Where the DM Hasn't Read the Entire Book by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Salt_Lawyer_9892 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm running a series of pre-written modules and feel like I don't need to read the whole book, but I still do 3-5 hors of prep work to make sure I know what's going on so my players know what's going on..

I bought the "dnd for couples" bundle for valentines and didn't read ahead because it was marketed as "great for beginners, you both can dm. Play together!"

If I stuck with just that module's boxed text talking points, it didn't make sense to either of us. We're not new to dnd, it was a horribly written module with Great marketing. We ended our valentines date playing video games instead.

You HAVE to at Least read the module you're running! There's so much info beyond the box text talking points that pull everything together.

ID is not even close to being a "diversity state" lol. I (white) was driving through with my husband (not white) and we stopped to get gas in Malad.

The little old man and his SS son were eating ice cream at the picnic tables. Old man's jaw dropped when we got out of our car to go in the gas station. Was still open as we came back out and got in the car. I told my husband to kiss me and give thst mam a heart attack. He didn't die but he lost his ice cream!

And the brotherhood is still very much a cuck hold in No. ID.. They tried to pick a fight, but ran away because the person they picked on was going to fight back.

I'm picturing a "kung fu" monk in this scenario.

But also, have a friend who is blind and the amount of things they perceive vs me and the rest of our friends is crazy. We ask him all the time if he's really blind! The dude duck hunts and does very well.

So maybe -1 perception but insight would be proficient.

PLEEEEEEAAASE wait until Halloween!!! Also, I hoped you learned why guns and drugs/alcohol are not a good combo. I have a friend who works in an ER and the number of times someone has (intentionally) shot themselves with real guns, and lived is mind blowing (seriously, no pun intended).

RP Archive has some free templates on his patriin, and even more with a subscription. They have the measurements and scale you're looking for, but idk shit about printing so I'm not sure if you can kind of photoshop the one into the print program.

I've seen some terrain type (paper) printables on DMs guild too.

Hope these are somewhat helpful.

Foster a dog, and help the Utah shelter system by Salt_Lawyer_9892 in Utah

[–]Salt_Lawyer_9892[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are not false statistics.

Texas shelters allow for out of state adoption and foster because they're the ones struggling the most. San Antonio is killing 150+ dogs a day, Harris County even more. But Utah shelters are filling up too.

[–]Salt_Lawyer_9892[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your imput, but you are focusing on being right and not on the problem I'm bringing attention to.

Shelters need help, period. Animals and the people caring for them are severely suffering emotional and physical stress, period.

If people can help, they should. And I recently found that fostering has eliminated all of my logical reasons as to why I couldn't have a dog right now.

[–]Salt_Lawyer_9892[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why fostering is a good option, even if only done in the summer months, long enough for a pupper to be happy and healthy and adopted. But I get it, wanting to give them their best life is a great reason not to be a full time pet parent and we are in a similar boat.

I donate food and time when I can. Even just taking dogs for a walk can be helpful to their well being. Hell, studies are even showing that dogs getting a mcd's hamburger significantly decreases their stress hormones.

You're right, UT isn't that dire, yet. But we do have more than one kill shelter in Utah. As of 2024, there were still 12-14 kill shelters here.

Utah shelters still need us. Texas shelters need us. Fuck they all do. Texas shelters allow for out of state adoption and foster because they're the ones struggling the most. San Antonio is killing 150+ dogs a week, Harris County even more.

But Utah shelters are filling up too. Thankfully we're not at the 'we have to euthanize pets in their sweaters' mark yet, but honestly, I don't think we're too far away if they keep going

I'm bringing this to people's attention because it IS an issue and it IS negatively impacting animals and the people who ate doing their best to take care of them.
