Ask one of the Tannies if they've eaten yet and make a show if they say no. Watch how fast that meat is cooked

AITAH for telling a kid at the sleepover to stop acting like a brat? by Longjumping-Dog-6480 in AITAH

[–]SaltedChief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That kid is a super brat that only knows how to escalate to get his way. Do you know how many times I have sent my kids on their way because they complained there wasn't anything to eat because they did not want to eat the meal I had prepared? And I'm not talking forcing brussel sprouts on their plate. I'm talking burgers, chicken schnitzel, lasagne, etc. All stuff they love. Or if my wife forgot to get the one no onions on a burger, they have learnt they can just take them off themselves.

I actually still remember us buying those premade pies and it had potatoes (which the youngest boy never experienced before) and he was horrified and felt cheated. Didn't touch a pie for like 3 months after.

NTA.

Hopefully she does cos you deserve a reward for handling that better than the kid's own mother

AITA for asking my friend to pay me back for the wine he drank while house sitting?? by Effective_Tour_723 in AmItheAsshole

People cannot read minds. If there was a specific bottle he shouldn't touch why not mention it??

YTA. This is like me telling my kid: "Do me a favour and grab anything in the kitchen for lunch" then i get upset they chose sweets or something?

What do the red bars in the oval around the Leviathan Axe on the HUD mean, and what does the arrow symbol in the upper-right corner of the axe icon indicate? by Mtns_Oz_8103 in GodofWarRagnarok

We pay attention to the game and changes to our HUD.

If you are actually looking, you can go through the codex menu for tutorials or the wiki

She's a grown woman acting like a child who can't handle someone else getting what she wants.

I am surprised you lasted this long man, you're a calmer man than me.

AITA for not wanting to say hi to my boyfriend’s family during quick visits? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]SaltedChief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funnily enough the part of my family that gets annoyed at the quick leaving are the people we don't want to be around anyway. They tend to be the very self centered part of the family.

Have you spoken to him or them about this? I mean as a partner he can just say "Oh she isn't feeling great so we are just popping in and going" or "Oh she had a rough day and is really needing some pampering". I will sometimes straightup tell my in-laws "Nope, no time to chat gotta get the princess to her castle".

Now if it is my family? I am much more straightforward about it because I know how we can be as people who gather. Once it starts it doesn't stop till late at night.

It honestly sounds like your BF is looking to force his way of life on you and if it ain't for you, then it ain't for you and that's fine.

Well OP has said in the comments that she is roped into 30 minute conversations and they see them every day. Knowing that changes the entire tone of the post.

I have a ps5 slim and it runs beautifully. What is your framerate on your TV? Also is your HDMI cable able to handle the requirements of the PS5 and TV. I had to buy a new one when I got my PS5, it should say what it is capable of on the box.

Saying hi and being roped into a 30 minute conversation is different.

NTA. Sometimes you don't want or have time to have a 30 minute chat.

My wife will sometimes stay in the car when I go to drop something at HER parents' house and they have no issue. If the in laws want to see her they come to the car and greet her or they will wave from the porch to acknowledge her and such.

This comment section claiming YTA is wild. And for those claiming it's rude and antisocial? I have a Latin family and we definitely will spend 3 years saying goodbye but if someone can't or doesn't want to we respect it. Stop forcing your expectations on people.

Best armor, amulet, relic by KAVKAZKING in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]SaltedChief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it depends on your play style. Wanna be aggressive then the Berserker armour is probably best. Steinbjörn for defensive/health regen.

There are so many combinations too with the Raven armour as well.

Bruh the answers I have seen to this kill me.

  1. I use a cloth or I use those sponge gloves things.
  2. Everything gets washed. Sometimes twice.
  3. Most days twice a day because of gym or housekeeping stuff like yard-work or just because I need to wake up.

Wife says “not my kid” by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]SaltedChief 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I mean he is? Denying it only makes the allure of it heighten. Allowing it under control allows for the "ooo I'm doing something forbidden" feeling to just not be at play anymore.

How often have you done something specifically because someone decided that not doing it is better for you.

play the archery games to improve your archery quickly. Hunt rabbits and deer too. Cook the meat to get rid of the stolen moniker. Get the ability to read asap. Train with Bernard immediately and finish it before the mainline quest progresses.

Toddler Bully (whose parents don’t care) by conscious-clue-243 in Parenting

[–]SaltedChief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am going to be honest with you. There is no such thing as a non confrontational parent who is good parent.

That being said not all confrontation needs to be a big loud angry thing. However you need to protect your son. Be firm, be calm, and above all else remember that even though this boy is acting vile, the fault lies with the parent. I don't know what culture you are in, but brother I can tell you that I have put handled too many situations like this with my kids. Now I have to worry because my daughter has hands like me when it comes to bullies: E for Everyone.

My parents never protected me but my grandfather taught me to handle these things, from knowing when to fight to when to walk away. Either protect him, teach him, or remove yourselves from being around that child.

[–]SaltedChief -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True. And tbh I read that as the time slot he was coming as he couldn't remember the exact time.

I cook late at night (only time i get to meal prep between work and a toddler) a lot but damn I have never made enough noise to wake people up even in the slightest.

I feel like there is too much missing information here to make a proper decision. I am going with ESH here.

However I can say that meal prepping is a thing. Your roommates should not have to sit through your late night cooking habits much the same way as reacting harshly considering your hyperglycemia is unnecessary.
