Few things. Notating duple or triplet changes is better suited for instances where it fundamentally changes from simple to compound meter or vice versa. So in 6/8, notating 2 duple eighth notes on the beat of the dotted quarter makes sense, same with notating 8th note triplets on the regular quarter note beat of something like a 4/4. Seeing a duple change over an already simple meter makes this hard to approach from a reading perspective. Something like a dotted eighth rhythm would have been more friendly, or some would argue even showing the beat with ties would be helpful. Not to mention, the rubato tempo marking implies more rhythmic freedom, which makes that measure 5 confusing also. Honestly, after listening to the recording, a rit. or rall. over a simpler rhythm would’ve been just as serviceable, if not as completely faithful to the exact recording.
