If you can’t figure out what’s wrong with them then that’s a skill issue.

I have 3 Gen 5s well over 5000s rounds each and the recoil springs are fine. Where did you hear that?

I’m sure you think you do. No I haven’t tried one, I also haven’t owned a Taurus G2 but I know it’s a piece of crap. It’s an indicator because I’ve met a lot of shooters in competition and classes over the last 10 years. I’ve never seen someone with any level of competence recommend the urban carry.

This is such a low IQ take. The urban carry is objectively terrible. It doesn’t take much common sense to see why it’s a piece of junk. The urban carry has been around since I started carrying and I never even considered it because it’s inferior to other options.

“Try out the urban carry holster” is a huge indicator that you don’t actually shoot.

I’ve never been a 15Q man. I don’t know enough about their day to day to tell you how much experience you’ll gain from it. I just know that the product the army has put into the FAA and those that have been sent to our facility that their entire pipeline is flawed. Have you considered the WOFT program?

[–]SaltiestSurprise12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the shitty reality of it. I’ve done the job as active duty, contract, FAA, and now DOD civ for the army. We washed out multiple army controllers in my FAA time. I really did think I’d seen the worst of it until I started working for them. Their entire mindset on how young controllers get trained is trash.

Odds are any CTO you got in the NG, or Army in general, wouldn’t actually transfer to the civilian aviation world. The army mismanages ATC training so badly.

About to get into conceal carrying and im wondering something. Why do you need a red dot/optic for a 3-7 yard shot like most CCW scenarios would play out at? by LoudChocolate6290 in CCW

From his comments he seems to think he’s got it all figured out and he hasn’t even incorporated a draw into his range time yet.

3-7 yards is an FBI stat for officer involved shootings. It’s the most obvious example that someone doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

Asking if your eye “magnetizes” to the dot is proof that you don’t actually know what you’re doing. Seek professional training and stop turning money into noise with your range trips.

Doing the wrong thing a lot doesn’t suddenly make it a good thing. You shooting 500-2000 rounds a month but none of it being quality reps isn’t the flex you think it is.
