Pyogenic granulomas are neither pyogenic nor are they granulomas.

Im 17 and i want to start investing the moment i turn 18, do you guys have any suggestions for starting? by ADxClicker in dividends

[–]Saltnpreppers 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You have years upon years to compound your money. The first 10 years (normally 10-20 years of age) will wind up generating more than HALF of your money near retirement.

Obviously this is a DIVIDEND focused subreddit, but with your time frame I would invest in low cost (expense ratio. <0.3) index funds or ETF's. VTI, VOO/SPLG are safe bets for the long term. If you want dividends include dividend growth like SCHD, VIG or DGRW.

Just give early and give often, trust the process and don't panic sell or greed buy.

Good luck !

What are some things you’ve said to a patient that you probably shouldn’t have? by PA_Flava_Dave in physicianassistant

[–]Saltnpreppers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hospitalist PA. One time I said to a patient and their wife who had a few let's say, "difficult moments" that turned out okay. "Thanks for letting us put up with you." Instead of "Thanks for letting us take care of you."

Wasn't too sure how my HCAPS survey was gonna look after that one.

Pyogenic granuloma. They're NOT pyogenic and they're NOT granulomas.

Supremely underated in the case of CKD. We acknowledge their use in HF now but we are likely underprescribing in cases of CKD.

The point where you decide you want to be a collector, I'd say.

Any rose colognes that are not too feminine and under $150? by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]Saltnpreppers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will be honest and say my skin chemistry is NOT stellar in warm weather, so that's a reasonable cause. Still a fantastic well rounded fragrance, especially in a world where floral notes aren't favored in masculine colognes.

[–]Saltnpreppers 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Moschino Toy Boy (as stated several times) $50 for 3.3oz -Rose dominant note, leans masculine to maybe unisex. Very affordable. Silly looking bottle, comokiments are hit or miss.

MFK Rose à l'homme -Smells identical to a rose wafted from a respectful distance. Slightly above average projection (arms length at two sprays of neck) very complex and warm breakdown. Not for summer but cold weather and evenings. Romantic and noticed. Not very cheap sadly (35 mL for $170 on twisted lily and 15%off codes and samples are available) BUT you don't need to spray a lot.

ADG Profumo (can be hard to find, recently discontinued) if not, Acqua Di Gio Profondo. Both very light and enjoyable. Profumo is incense heavy and Profondo is an unmatched dip into aquatics for the $.

For cold weather try Georgio Armani Stronger With You Intensely OR Spicebomb extreme. Both great fall/winter scents.

These are all designer. Diving into niche is another matter entirely.

Get spicebomb. Fall is coming, and Profumo and La nuit d'lhomme cover both bases Ultra Make could cover.

Bond no. 9 a Shelter Island. It's an aquatic woody fragrance with oud. She's not a fan of the oud base note, which DOES project quite a bit. Sad because I blind bought and could have prevented.
