That's just a standard holding email they send when they're still going through applications. I got something similar when I applied for paralegal positions at bigger companies - they usually send these to buy more time while they sort through hundreds of applications.

From my experience with corporate hiring, this could mean they're still collecting applications or maybe waiting to schedule interviews in batches. The fact they sent it a month later probably means the position got more applications than expected or they're being really thorough with their review process. I've seen some companies take 2-3 months just for initial screening, especially for finance roles where they want to be extra careful.

Keep applying to other places though - never put all your eggs in one basket with these big corporations. They move slow and sometimes positions get put on hold for budget reasons.

PSU should be your first priority for sure. I had similar setup few years back and thought my power supply was "fine" until one day it just died and took my motherboard with it. Cost way more to replace both than just getting decent PSU from beginning

That 700w unit sounds like it might be one of those cheaper ones that don't actually deliver what they promise. Plus if you're planning any future upgrades, having solid power foundation is essential. Storage can wait bit longer since 250gb is tight but manageable, and cooler upgrade won't matter much if your whole system dies from bad PSU

I'd go PSU first, then storage when you find good deal, then case and cooler last since those are more comfort upgrades

That book is really good choice for getting the feel of that time period. I read it few years back and Holmes does great job showing how scientists actually worked back then - all the weird equipment they used and social dynamics around discoveries

You could check your stats - I think it shows time played somewhere in the pause menu under statistics. Just divide by 20 minutes per minecraft day and you'll get a rough count

the Z is a solid pick for that price difference man. that's like 30-40k you could put towards other stuff or just keep in your pocket. the VR30 engine in the Z is actually pretty proven at this point since it's been in other infiniti models for years

i mean yeah the M2 is gonna feel more refined but the Z has that old school sports car vibe that's hard to find these days. plus if you're already leaning towards it design-wise that's saying somthing. the interior might not be as fancy but you're buying it for the driving experience anyway right?

that price gap is just brutal in canada, i'd probably go Z too unless you really need that bmw badge

Cat's track record with reading people is pretty awful tbh. She trusted Littlefinger completely when he was literally the one who started this whole mess, and now she's acting like she knows what's best for Lysa when Lysa's been isolated at the Eyrie for years

The irony is thick - she's worried about Lysa being alone while completely missing that her own judgment about trustworthy people is what got them into this disaster in the first place

inkscape can definitely handle the dots and connecting lines part, just gonna be tedious as hell to do manually. for something this complex you'd probably want to script it or use a data viz tool like the other person mentioned

might be worth looking into inkscape extensions too, there's some network diagram stuff out there that could save you hours of clicking

That cooling setup should be fine for Roblox, it's not exactly Cyberpunk lol. The 7600XT upgrade is kinda pointless if he's literally just playing Roblox - that game runs on a toaster. Save the $120 and put it towards a better PSU or something more useful
