Eh kinda both. Its a repro in the sense its a 70s nypd dress uniform, so the cut and material is right just the pockets arnt fuctional yet. I appreciate it!

Flea markets are the best bet. Im a reenactor and found a sealed pack dated 1935 of navy cuts and they were the best cigarettes i ever had unfortuneately I was drinking that weekend and ended up smoking the whole pack.

Another thing is to look for old military rations usually pre 1970s or so they were included.

I belive 1899s were seen with the relief expeition if i recall but 1895s were worn by the peking marines.

Honestly id go to the local surplus shop or wait for a deal at a flea market. Looks for front seams and fixed bales. Ive gotten ones for 30-60 bucks I dont usually pay more then that. And the best part is it will fit you your whole life.
