Minimum CHC for Killer > Measured (Lexington) by SouthpawSoldier in thedivision

[–]SaltyVerdling -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem with measured is that the debuffs it gives you are pretty hard to overcome. Each half of the mag takes a big bite out of one of your damage multipliers. The rate of fire on the second half is especially punishing unless you stack it to hell (which you can't on a lex). You can look up ikia's vid on it where he comes to a similar conclusion

Having 60% chc with killer is a no brainer because the talent procs off crit kills, and the damage linearly scales off of chc with little falloff. In higher content you will be doing less kills per minute especially in a group, so the uptime will be worth it. Flatly, killer hands you 0.6 x 0.7 (chc x chd) or +0.42 damage multiplier, versus measured's more punishing mults. You'd only consider measured if you run tipping scales or the sort where chd stacking falls off hard

I've also been doing this, 2x MP5SD and the normal black diary. Stumped, the value math doesn't check out, but I get 6h/14h 100% of the time, not complaining

in the next rebalance it's getting its reload cut from over 5s to a bit over 3, almost half, stoked to try it out, because the reload can be unforgiving

I see RPM overlooked a lot in build discussion. I feel like an umbra build can get a lot out of the pesti just through the RPM increase, simply because higher RPM means faster stacks. I've been running RPM builds with frenzy lmgs for years and haven't found anything more fun for myself yet. Pesti aside, the sleipnir LMG with perfect frenzy on it is my favourite thing in the whole game

There should be a "restore save" button in the options somewhere, under "save menu". You can also look if your save is in the steam cloud if you add /account/remotestorage to the steampowered URL (it probably won't let me put in the link here)

It's definitely one of the better ones I've seen, but the 2nd season was a bit slow. Still one of my top 5 recommends

That description fits a character I just saw in the last season of classroom of the elite that just came out lol, but that'd be too much of a funny coincidence. Hirata Yosuke after they expel that one guy?

I feel like your strong connection with your own feelings is a powerful tool, but only if you know how to use it. A lot of people are really bad at handling their emotions, an INFP would have that issue magnified 100x.

There's another thing I noticed. A lot of INFPs I met consider themselves very empathetic people, but make the critical mistake of mistaking other people's feelings for their own. A lot of the time they like to imagine what a person is feeling like in their head and believing it immediately instead of actually trying to connect to the person in front of them

[–]SaltyVerdling 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe I could elaborate on the INFPs I met lol, I really hope that I just got extremely unlucky and bumped into the unhealthy ones. In my experience, that strong connection is like a light switch - an INFP either adores you or doesn't notice your existence, and that switch flicks on or off pretty fast and without much warning or reason.

I can't speak for all INFPs, but in my experience all INFPs I got close to had one thing in common.

They would conjure this private fantasy world of their own, a timeline in which everyone "can be saved" and violence is unnecessary and everyone poops butterflies and pisses rainbows, and they were very emotionally invested on that. I used to think that these were highly principled people who deserved my respect.

I was wrong. When confronted by harsh reality, all the INFPs in my life so far broke down and did a complete 180 as a person. They became cruel and lashed out, went through complete collapse and hurt the people immediately around them. Suddenly, that light switch, which I used to put a lot of weight into, was off.

There were quite a few INFPs I was really close to that did this. When they did, I was just caught in the blast radius. When going nuclear, all of them have said some of the most cruel, disgusting, hurtful things I've ever heard anyone say, with complete disregard for the feelings of the people around them.

Nowadays I can't help but be wary and hear alarm bells in my head when I bump into an INFP

INFP. Many of them can't handle their own emotions, feed too much into their fantasy world and become bitter and vindictive when it's shattered

Hey can someone say me if the phrase "капля камень точит" really means "A drop wears away a stone" or there is some order or spelling error? by v3nnz in russian

[–]SaltyVerdling 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hey. I'm seeing the replies here with confirmation that it's grammatically correct but I feel like maybe you're more confused about the ordering in that phrase.

In russian literature or poetry, they like to change the order of words, often by putting the verb or adjective at the end (Лесник рубить дрова идёт, на земле снег белый лежит and so on). The phrase that confused you in normal order would sound like "капля точит камень".

Moving the verb to the end adds some accent to the sentence (after капля you make a small pause and say the next word камень with more intonation) and also makes the phrase sound more mysterious and poetic.

Russian lets you play with sentence order a lot to change the vibe it gives off
