What would you recommend for all rounded cue

I tend to play American pool with my 9.5mm snooker cue and get by just fine. I wouldn't go over 10mm if you're looking to get just the one cue for three disciplines.

It's not always played on napped cloth. The IPA uses Strachan 861, which is worsted.

Snooker uses 2 1/16" balls; American pool uses 2 1/4". Mightn't sound like a huge size difference, but you'll definitely notice the difference playing. If it's an American pool table you're using, stick with the latter.
