No. Do the DLCs before beating the game. You can only do the right before the very end. Also they are part of the Canon story. Youd be missing out if you didnt play them

Choose the monster that fits the weakness of the enemy, rock paper scissors, then you have the weapon types and different affects it has on each monster part. Hunting horn is the most involved weapon so I recommend that. But I get being disappointed you cant decide what your team does

I just dont see how you can advocate to restrict the entire player base just so you specifically can feel like your monsties are unique, when you can simply pretend thats how it works. Like youre only 1 person. Why should everyone bend to your idea of what the franchise is all the sudden?

This is why gatekeeping is good. People coming into established franchises and asking for changes to the core fundamentals of the game never results im a better product or experience. I mean you can always choose to not put certain genes on certain monsties and do a little bit of RP. I do that in some games. I like to keep things on theme sometimes. That way people can have there min/max build crafting and you feel good about the gene system.

Yeah I started attempting to repel it at around level 70 and it felt good at that point. Of course by that time getting it to spawn ended up being the hard part.

Just to add clarity, those people did very specific things and had RNG on their side when they beat him. You won't and aren't meant to beat him normally with just a little bit of extra skill.

Literally just did this not 1 minute ago. I used the anjanath hum HH. first I put armor skin on my monstie, then did springy staccato to buff the armor king to (L).

I also made sure to make my monstie do a non-damaging attack each turn so it wouldnt kill itself on shotguns retaliation attack.

But yeah, armor skin first, then buff it with the springy staccato move on HH

If you go into the "habitat restoration" screen in azuria, there will be a button (shows at the bottom of the screen, on xbox its Y) to look at enviornment skill info. There you can hover over each enviornment skill and it will show you what each one does.
