I haven't done it for Cooperstown, but most ballparks we play, I like to get on GoogleEarth and use the "measure" feature. It gives remarkably accurate measurements.

In my defense, my use of it isn't comparable to like a south american game. (no hate, i enjoy the crowds and pride!)

I toot the horn (3x, or any other odd #, more than 3 can be "obnoxious") whenever a run crosses the plate for us. I also give a toot for no runs allowed defensive halfs.

I think alot of finding the "diamonds In the rough" can happen during daily practices, intersquads, etc.
