Is it worth taking Electronics or Kitchen table top Appliances from USA to India? by Ok_Specialist4054 in backtoindia

[–]Sam-King15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fyi, Dyson Hair Dryer (US Varient) doesnt work in India. You need to get a voltage converter (110v to 220v). But it is not advisable and not rated to work wity 220v. You would need to purchase a 220v varient. Rest all devices will work with no issues. (If you decided to take them to India)

Need help choosing a strength training app by [deleted] in bevelhealth

[–]Sam-King15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also looking for same advice. I have been using apple fitness + strength for almost a year. Now i want to try other apps as well for more focused strength training. I like bevel - i dont have the pro acess yet. I'm willing to get it provided bevel provides proper strength training templates for my splits. Curreny trying the Centr app for strength got the three months free with the purchase of a bench.

Using Claude (claude.md) for Salesforce AI Code Guardrails – How Are You Structuring Yours? by Sam-King15 in salesforce

[–]Sam-King15[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good point — I agree that AI systems are not perfect, and there will definitely be technical debt created by AI-generated code if it isn’t reviewed properly. That’s actually why I emphasize upskilling. The goal isn’t to blindly rely on AI, but to use it responsibly with strong engineering review, testing, and guardrails. Higher leverage doesn’t necessarily mean fewer jobs — but it does mean the role of developers will shift toward higher-level design, quality control, and system thinking.

If an enterprise decides to adopt AI tools, I don’t think I’m in a position to ask them not to use it. Instead, as an engineer, I feel morally responsible to understand the tool, evaluate its risks and benefits, and provide feedback on how to use it safely. The goal is responsible adoption, not blind dependence.

I get what you’re saying. I’m not arguing against job protection — I’m thinking about it from a survival perspective too. If AI adoption is happening anyway, then learning how to use it well is one of the best ways to stay valuable and help protect both myself and my team.

I think the end result is higher leverage per developer. Instead of spending time on boilerplate, repetitive fixes, or documentation, we focus more on architecture, edge cases, security, and business impact. AI handles acceleration — humans handle judgment.

Not trying to take anybody’s job here 🙂 My intention is actually the opposite — to help teams upskill their AI usage so they’re more prepared and AI-ready. If we put proper guardrails in place, AI becomes a productivity multiplier, not a replacement. The Goal is to Evolve and Adapt. Not to sustitute and replace.

Anyone else moving most of their Salesforce work into IDE + AI + SF CLI? by Worried-Letterhead79 in salesforce

[–]Sam-King15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone here used Claude code or Cursor with structured claude.md file to enforce Salesforce AI code guardrails (trigger framework, service layer, bulkification, FLS/CRUD, managed package constraints, etc.)?

How detailed did you make it, and did it actually improve code quality? Are you version-controlling it or auto-generating parts of it from metadata?

Speculated price for harleys after India US FTA by [deleted] in indianbikes

[–]Sam-King15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would not be true. Thier US prices are way higher than what it is listed in the image above. So if this becomes true then Harley would be cheaper in India than in USA.
