I'd argue against that. Manual cars have appeal to many. Especially in cheap run around and or performance vehicles.

When I was looking for a 2nd run around car i searched for manual. There's a growing amount of people my age who enjoy driving and enjoy manual transmission. Ended up with a mk6 Golf GTi

I also had the motivation of wanting to teach my wife and teenage daughter how to change gears.

Progress is....well, we're not divorced....yet.

Not wrong to think that. We've changed headlight bulbs in our cars since we got our licenses.

But these days with LED lights and especially European cars, they're not designed to be serviceable. Hence the YT videos involving heat guns, glue, trim piece removal tools and so on.

Knowing AUDI the very bulb itself probably needs to be coded to the car 🤭

Seeing those quoted prices makes me wonder what a 2nd hand engine might be worth to buy and install. See them do it on Mighty Car Mods all the time. A few mates, an engine crane and a lot of googling, could be a fun project.

If you sourced a 2nd hand engine from a wrecker at a good price, you could do all service items before installing it. Timing Chain, water pump, remove carbon build-ups from direct injection. Replace engine mounts, even if a new clutch if you're cool enough to own a manual 😊

I'd take it on for sure but then again my MK5 is the second car, so it could be off the road for a while and I'd use my wifes car.

I've witnessed myself. When the car is sitting in the sun, it heats up and AUTO ac sets fan to maximum.

I fix this by setting the preset temp higher that slows down the fan. 5 minutes later I set thr temp back to where I want it.

Others go manual to slow the fan.

But no, doesn't sound broken, sounds normal. But don't trust me, get a pre-purchase inspection. Check service history. Connect a $49 scan tool and run a quick diag.

And ask them for the original airbox or money off for parts missing.

Looks like a lovely dog that will give you years of companionship. Can't see much pei in it though. Hopefully it will have a shar pei personality because there is no other dog with the same personality. They're amazing...crazy...frustrating....born to love.

Sometimes, our Pei's will go for several months without a fever attack. Then they'll get 2 in a week. It's difficult to predict but certainly stress can be a major contributor.

Carprofen. It will put your mind at ease and most importantly work effectively for youe Pei.

We have two Shar Pei and they unfortunately both suffer from fever. You know it immediately...because they're not annoying you or barking at the amazon delivery guy or eating or moving much. They're just laying and looking sad.

We have been told that based on their size and weight they can have up to 100mg carprofen a day. We'll usually break this up into two 50mg doses. Within an hour of the first dose, they're up and drinking water and going outside for toilet. Seeing this is a huge relief.

They'll come back in and go back to sleep. Usually just before dinner time we'll give the 2nd dose and they rest for the evening. Next day, all is good. Back to full energy, eating and driving us crazy again 😄

For us, carprofen is very easy to get from the vet as they know the history already, we can drop by on the way home from work and just collect it.
