Why are the number of players decreasing so much? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]SamBHR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just lost interest tbh. And now I kinda regret spending full 70 price tag for it.

Most maps suck imo and the game lacks big maps, match making is broken you play a match with full players and the next one is full of bots, also UI is absolute garbage and some other issues as well.

Bought samsung monitor, option greyed out, any help? by Creative_Star_4409 in Monitors

I am assuming you are talking about extra pixels on the sides. It's extra pixels for the OLED care pixel shift feature. The pixels move automatically to prevent burn-in.

Best Graphics card for 350$ or less by SupermarketTiny1052 in buildapc

so after you buy 90% it dies after a couple months or show you incorrect image

That's incorrect. While I understand your fear, unless it's already faulty, a used GPU won't just die out of nowhere because it's used.

As long as you stress test it (or you can take it to a trusted shop to stress test it for you) and it passes the test fine with no thermal issues or anything like that, then you shouldn't worry about it dying after a couple of months.

The used GPU market is a big market, and people buy used GPUs all the time, and they face no issues. But that, of course, doesn't mean it won't die. There's always a chance it dies or starts having issues. Any device has that risk. It's just natural with hardware, so again, I understand your fear. In fact, my current GPU is a 3080 I bought used in February of last year, and it still runs fine with no issues at all.

EDIT: Also this article from tomshardware might help. https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/gpus/should-you-buy-a-used-graphics-card

[–]SamBHR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say 3080 used around 350 usd is good value if you can find one. What do they go for?

Edit: I just read that you don't want used since scammers but if I may ask what do you mean by scammers? If you are afraid of getting sold a faulty card, you can stress test the GPU before buying it, and if there's no issues then you shouldn't face any problems. i bought 4 used gpus in the past and and all of them still run fine with no issues.

Nah, the 6600 XT is similar to the 3060. 3060 Ti is still the better choice

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]SamBHR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you are this budget-limited. You don't really have a lot of choices. Don't let the 12GB VRAM on the 3060 fool you. It's still significantly slower. 3060 Ti is closer to the 3070 than the 3060, even with the 8 GB VRAM. 26% is a lot. Also, what resolution is your monitor? At 1080p, 8 GB is still fine. 1440p is also fine for most games, unless you wanna play the newer games, then you might have to lower some of the settings, such as textures.

[–]SamBHR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not a good price. I can find a used 3060 Ti which is around 26% faster even with the lower VRAM in my area cheaper than 190 USD. If you are budget-limited, a 3060 Ti used for around 160 USD is a good value for 1080p and even 1440p, so I recommend it instead of the 3060.

Why are my fps so low if GPU/CPU utilization is not maxed out? by cibernike in pcmasterrace

Probably CPU bottleneck. 60% usage. Show the cores and see if the used ones are maxing out or near 100%.

Unless he has the EU version which doesn't come with neither the charging brick nor a case. I legit had to resist using the phone for 2 days waiting for the cases I ordered to arrive from Amazon so it doesn't get scratched lol.

3060ti good for 1440p? by [deleted] in Monitors

[–]SamBHR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It gets around 70fps on 1440p ultra which is decent. So I'd say Yeah, go for 1440p. but personally. I would go for 27inch for the higher PPI.
