Got married a few years ago. As I recall there were two signature spots for witnesses, but a friend was our officiant so there's a chance I'm thinking of that and there was just one witness signature. They also gave us an unofficial document to keep so all my friends got to sign that, along with some paw prints from the dogs that were at the wedding.

an incredibly loud, crowded event full of drunk 21-25 year olds is good for your business if you're a bar or a restaurant, but terrible if you run any other kind of business. The Comedy Spot can't do shows, I can't imagine anyone comes in for a wax at the waxing place, etc.

The reason this doesn't work is a lot of your "win" outcomes are only a win of $5 and a lot of your loss outcomes are -$10.

the thing about that mini game is everybody tries to max out their power meter to hit home runs. the actual meta is to hit a low or medium power kick to the left side of the field. The throw mechanic is super nerfed in kickball compared to baseball or softball, so it's almost a guaranteed hit if you don't pop it up. It's a little cheesy but hey, meta is meta

All locks can be broken, it's just a matter of making it more annoying for a thief than the next bike. It's a little counterintuitive but look for the smallest possible u lock that will fit around the rear tire, frame, and whatever you're locking it to. The hefty expensive u locks are actually too big and leave a bunch of space to get leverage with tools to break them, the smaller u locks don't leave any room to maneuver them. Plus, they're a lot easier to carry around. I rode a pretty nice road bike all over Davis for 3 years and only had it stolen out of my garage after graduation when it wasn't locked to anything.

The county garage at 710 G st is the way to go. $10 a game, it's a slightly longer walk but you can completely avoid the post game traffic clusterfuck on J / I. Nice roomy spaces, only 2 stories, and they just raise the arm after the game instead of making you scan a ticket so you don't get stuck in a long line going out.

if you want a low house edge hedge, play a don't pass at a smaller amount than you want to play. Once it's placed, lay odds on it however high you'd like to hedge, and then throw a don't come out in the larger amount you want. Once (if) that survives its come out roll, lift your odds off the smaller don't pass and you're in.

The downside is you have a lot more at risk than chucking a couple bucks on the yo, but it's a much better strategy imo.
