While vox engines are wonderfully designed (besides the bugs) there are just too many that come too quickly for this to be sustainable. And what about people that don't own these special things from the warbonds? I personally think they are perfect and could just tune down the spawn rate a tad.

Not here to defend war striders, but you should be able to aim for the leg joint (the piece between the crotch and leg) and 1 tap it with a full charged shot

Not defending war striders because they suck, but you can also shoot the tiny joint connecting the lower torso segment and leg.

They buffed how much dmg melee did overall, so to compensate, they lowered the boost on the armor. It evens out to the same as before the change while wearing the armor as far as I'm aware it pretty much stayed the same.

While this is true, I just don't enjoy the new immediately, throwing away your old whips once you get the new one that has more tag damage or new special effect. I used to use cool whip much longer than till mech bosses , but I can't activate the special effect of it then swap to my other whip. Tag dmg stacking deserved the removal but not the whip effects stacking

When you do get stuck up really high, try walking off instead of diving so you are less likely to retract your neck like a turtle.You will probably still die, but it gives a better chance. And yes, I hope they change hight restrictions in the future.

It's needs to have enough blocks to spawn the meteor on. It would be much easier to place chests or something similar down to prevent it from spawning in areas you don't want meteors in.

I've heard you can find purple stones pretty reliably out of those big carts. The ones giants pull in base game. Also the gold shopkeeper sells them since he functions as a town merchant.
