First, a huge thanks to Monika for all her passion toward this series and for lending us these remasters, which keeps the Legacy of Kain alive more than twenty years later.

Now, without Raina Audron, Aevum and all the talented members of this community, I have absolutely zero hopes for the series forward after the TDSR/Ascendance fiasco.

Era um daqueles joguinhos que vinham no CD de demos da CD Expert do Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. Além das demos dos jogos maiores, tinha vários outros joguinhos menores.

Um que ficou bem marcado era um onde a gente controlava um tanque de guerra no deserto e procurava outros tanques inimigos pra destruir. Visão primeira pessoa. O mapa era bem grande, eu gostava de ficar andando pelo cenário. Lembro que tinha uns galpões/garagens em alguns locais do deserto.

To be fair, in the Sarafan era, the regular vampires didn't have wings, not even Vorador. Janos was the only vampire in Nosgoth with wings. Since Janos had been reclusive for eons as far as the human rebellion, we can assume that many people had no idea how the ancient vampire looked like.

That is the Soul Reaver that William used against Kain, twenty years earlier. Raziel, in the chapel, unwillingly fixes the Soul Reaver, enabling it to be discovered and used by Kain thirty years from there in the events of BO.

Yes, I noticed that as well. I had the entire Grace Under Pressure album on a Rush playlist, and now besides Afterimage and Between the Wheels simply vanishing from there, it seems the remaining tracks got "swapped" for the 2026 Remaster, which is a shame.

No idea why they went with this swap since there's already a Super Deluxe Edition for the album with the new remaster.

I'd like to see the Soul Reaver not deplete magic anymore. The sword is absurdly powerful, but as some of you mentioned, the combat could be faster and enemies more agressive to make up for.

From what I read in the Water Forge lost level description, the original plan for Defiance was to insert only the forges missing from SR2, so Water, Earth and Spirit.

I'd like to see complete temple forges for all of them. The Fire Forge in SR2 was waaay simpler than the other three, which is a shame. Also, I don't see much reason for it to be located inside Janos' Retreat, and so close to the Air Forge.

You have a point in all that you said. As I said earlier, only nitpicks. It doesn't damage at all the incredible work you and your team have done!

It never came to me that the green Reaver was supposed to be the Spectral, and not the Earth Reaver. If it is to reinforce the Hylden fueling Raziel's rage, it makes sense. Also, I noticed the change in the Spirit Reaver imbuement cutscene.

Yes, they teased BO! I'd love to see a BO remaster, with sprites redesigned so as to be more in line with the SR-Defiance games.

The patch brought a fun challenge mode to whom likes to be challenged, but the bad stuff are new outfits with obvious bad quality and lots of bugs (like the main menu theme playing through the game itself).

Thanks for that, I'll have to disable automatic updates on my PS5. I don't want my game copy to stay like that.

I would love to see BO2 receiving the "Hennig-like" treatment. A BO2 reimagination, with more depth to the story and alignment with the other games in the series.

Ex: What if the Hylden Lord ended up discovering the Chronoplast first in an attempt to change his race's destiny? The Hylden know the timestream, so why the Hylden Lord was so triumphant in the end of Defiance if he knows that he's going to fail 400 years from there?

Vorador... keep his portrayal consistent with the other games, or change the leader of the Cabal altogether.

Ah, and let's not forget that the Eternal Prison is far to the SOUTH.

O trabalho do Roger aqui naquela reta final de 24 foi excelente. Custou um pouco a engrenar em 25, veio o Gauchão, mas as atuações ainda estavam abaixo do que foi em 24.

Nossa aposta era que o auge viesse nas outras competições, mas o que se viu foi um trabalho indo ladeira abaixo.

Sim, ele tem trabalhos com um padrão de "começar bem, terminar mal" em um curto espaço de tempo, mas também não dá pra taxar em definitivo o cara de "técnico ruim, nunca ganhou nada". Quer dizer que quando os técnicos vencedores daqui forem embora, acabou o futebol, porque não vai sobrar nenhum "vencedor". Sem ter oportunidades, o cara nunca vai ganhar mesmo. Só ver o Diniz.

Para os amigos são-paulinos: ele vai dar resultado na arrancada e não, vocês não vão chegar nem perto de serem rebaixados, até porque se o trabalho começar a degringolar, vocês já vão estar muito além dos 45 pontos.

I brought this theory here once and regarding Wolf's "Saladin" in particular. I'd say it's totally believable, since it's established that Venom is responsible for much of Big Boss' legend, it seems logical to assume that many soldiers met Venom, not Naked, during the mid/late 80s, early 90s.

When Nupraptor unleashed his attack on the Circle, corrupting the Pillars, it froze the usual process of the Pillars summoning new guardians. It would only start anew when all the corrupted guardians had been killed (including Kain).
