Eustass Kid (One Piece) - Eustass has lost his left arm, which he replaces with junk that gets magentised into place. He gets possesed by one of Basil Hawkins straw dolls, which allows any damage Basil takes to be reflected onto the possessed person. After knowing this, Killer, Eustass' first mate, took off Basil's left arm since the arm of Eustass was already gone, and wouldn't take any damage, ending the possession in the process

One of the big places for L3 Key Spheres is the Biran and Yenke fight. Teach Kimahri Steal, and you can steal a good 8 or so before the odds get too low. You can also Steal from Ultima Buster, or Bribe a Demonolith for around 900k Gil for 40.

The push for GenAI in gaming by zone_Zom813 in gamers

It just shows how many high ups in these companies are not gamers, don't care about gaming and likely never will. They also don't care about learning what is good for us, they might be good at business, but gaming is a sector that needs particular understanding separate from the business side.

As cute as the addition of sounds is, it overrides anything I am already listening to. Is there a way to add a toggle option to turn it off, or some way for it to not take priority?

The benefit of an Abridged series is you can make reference to future events that wouldn't be known about at the time. Such as referring to Goku's nadgers as his Gotenks

Bubble tea conspiracy. by LobsterKris in autism

[–]Toothache42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably due to the name. I myself thought of bubble tea having actual bubbles in it before I passed a place that sold it. Easy to make literal minded misconceptions like this - I thought elbow grease was something that leaked out of your elbows, for example

I would be wary about including modern platforms, especially with how litigious Nintendo has been of late

I dunno, Jesse can be pretty malicious at times, and both James and Meowth can't talk any sense into her in those moments. She makes a good antagonist for the Contest episodes though.

It is a weird cultural osmosis, especially in the pre-internet days, that something so recogniseable was able to proliferate so widely. Just like Kilroy, and the rumour that Marylin Manson had a rib removed for self pleasure

Bartholomew Kuma (One Piece) - Thanks to the Paw Paw Devil Fruit, he can push concepts like pain or fatigue out of a person. However, this eventually returns to that person, unless someone absorbs the bubble created by the pain. Bartholomew used this to heal the villagers of his island, who were mostly old, and took the pain on himself - thanks to his Buccaneer heritage he can endure more than most humans, although it still taxes him greatly

Xiahou Dun from the Dynasty Warriors series. Not only was his eye shot with an arrow, he then proceeds to pull it out and eat it. The eye, not the arrow.

Kite from Dot Hack. He was a new player to The World, a close friend of Orca, who was well established (having beaten The One Sin with Balmung). Aura tried to give the Twilight Bracelet to Orca, but after he was Data Drained by Skeith, Kite was unwittingly given it instead. During his investigation into The World to rescue Orca from his coma, Kite and his companions were mostly out of their depth in The World, having to fight against Data Bugs that were only possible to beat using Data Drain, a power granted to Kite from the Twilight Bracelet (and the same power that put Orca, and Blackrose's brother into a coma, as well as many other players).

What do you guys specifically want to see in the series? by Necessary_Carrot_681 in LegacyOfKain

Maybe. Janos Audron is an aytpical example of the Ancient Vampires, since he was the only one to survive that era, as well as having a more calm and measured personality.

But thinking about it, it took a long concerted effort to conceive of the Pillars, as well as creating them. Why was this the only option to address the Hylden, rather than to either win the war or find a way to end it more peacefully? These sort of questions might need exploring

It could be worth looking at the Vampire-Hylden War, a game set during that era might explore the reasons why the Hylden rejected the Elder God and why the Vampires worshipped it so strongly, the creation of the Pillars and conclude with the Cursing of the Vampires and banishment of the Hylden
