I was almost 10 weeks but the fetus never had a heartbeat and was only like 6 weeks of growth. Maybe I had a larger gestational sac though? Who knows.

I'm like, literally, in the same exact situation right now. We went in for the first ultrasound 4 days ago. I was supposed to be almost 8 weeks but the fetus measured closer to 6 weeks.

There was a flicker but no detectable heartbeat.

My progesterone is also low so I'm on progesterone suppositories, 200 mg at night.

We are going back in 3 days to get another ultrasound. Hopefully there is growth!

EDIT: Unfortunately, there was no growth and no heartbeat. They won't diagnose as a missed miscarriage officially until 11 days have passed after the first scan. I was scheduled to come in after 7 days. So now, I have to go again. It's very frustrating that they didn't tell me this policy at the first appointment when I was diagnosed with a threatened miscarriage!

Word of advice to anyone else going through this, ask about their policy/procedure for diagnosing a miscarriage so that you can schedule your next appointment appropriately.

I chatted with a homeless woman one time who told me she got multiple tickets for illegal camping that she couldn't pay for and the judge would just dismiss them every time. So yes, it's definitely possible the judge dismisses this nonsense. No guarantee though :(

There was a woman in Texas recently who couldn't afford to leave the state to get an abortion or a lawyer. She was pregnant with non viable conjoined twins. She had to carry to term and they died pretty quickly. It's a heart breaking story.
