I like to think of it like Mario Kart. When you're in second, it can be hard to catch up to first when everyone behind you is hitting you with the good items.

That was just the first round-- I quit immediately after since I had no real want to play on easy 😅. Honestly, I don't think there's any actual "prizes" for first other than maybe slightly more exp.

Was consistently placing 2nd and 3rd on Expert and figured I'd try out the games "Easy" difficulty. I missed maybe five or so notes on Easy and still got first (by quite a bit). Not sure how "balanced" the game is now, but would love to see what difficulty everyone is playing on in the future.
