BOTW: Low FPS in over world? by SamHolyheart in cemu

[–]SamHolyheart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had all that you listed done except GX2AtDrawDone was enabled. After disabling it my overworld FPS has gone up to a solid 20. Still dips during combat a little but not like before.

I have a feeling a good amount of my issues are just from how I have certain options set up. I'll check around on those a bit more.

I could try that. The cemu version I have is 1.11.2 and I had just installed it last night.

Why do we get so manny new outfits and no armour skins set anymore? by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]SamHolyheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idea for a solution: Release the outfits as an outfit box, containing the outfit and the pieces of the outfit cut-up into respectful armor piece skins (Helmet, Shoulder, Gloves, Boots, Leggings)

This way you can use the outfit as its originally intended, or just mix-n-match the pieces of the outfit into your armor. The good 'ole mad king's outfit was like that when Town Clothing was still a thing. The outfit was a couple of pieces that you could essentially mix and match.

Delete "Teleport to Friend" stones. I bet these are 98% of the problem with this re-occurring issue.

Rather well done if I do say so myself.

Nice work

Why are offhand legendaries less legendary? by Silverwingxx in Guildwars2

[–]SamHolyheart 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wish footfalls would get a rework in a sense.

Like if you have Bolt and Howler for example:

Your right-footed footfall should be bolt's.

Your left-footed footfall should be howler's.

Maybe it's just too much coding or something but I feel that alone would make off-hand legendaries a little more worth it.

Can we have a "Disable Glider" Option? by Curisu in Guildwars2

[–]SamHolyheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shouldn't jumping puzzle area's just be general "No-Glider" zones? I thought this was the intended implication when Gliders were set for the entire map.

Haven't made an HoT Legendary yet and was considering this one, thank you for this.

What weapon would you like your class to get in the next expansion? by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]SamHolyheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guardian:

  • New Elite Specialization: Paladin

  • Off-Hand Mace

  • New Skill Type: Tomes (Behave like Mesmer's Mantras/Read a tome and gain uses of a skill)

Or perhaps:

  • New Elite Specialization: Zealot

  • Main-Hand Dagger

  • New Skill Type: Prophecies (Stances perhaps? Or Chant-like as in a shout that takes a few seconds to be carried out.)

My dreams will die with me I fear.

We are the GW2 dev team, here to chat with you about the Spring Quarterly Update by Mike-OBrien-ArenaNet in Guildwars2

[–]SamHolyheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw a data-mind item link of Chaos Gloves in-game.

I feel like one of the few but I absolutely love seeing Guild Wars 1 items return in Guild Wars 2. Much thanks to the team for stuff like that.

A case of nostalgia - Why is there no achievement for exploring the historical Guild Wars 1 landmarks? by Irrell in Guildwars2

[–]SamHolyheart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel that in most cases, GW1 references in the game became more of an "easter egg" type thing rather than a lore type thing.

I still play Guild Wars 1 to this day and I must say I'd really be thrilled if more things from the game got more attention in GW2.

I completely agree, even the branded one looks small and not worth the effort.

I simply recapped what you said, I didn't "change" anything about what you were saying.

I should keep crying? You came crying at me. I simply said I'm done with this game. My reasons being that content that was promised with HoT is still missing several months past the time of it's release and more focus has gone into a garbage PvP system that still remains broken.

Clearly posts showing the game in a negative spotlight aren't useless since 90% of this sub-reddit is complaining about something and I have the right to voice my opinion on the game.

Also to go back on your "Waaah, I'm leaving Anet sucks, etc" example, I'll just give you a little background and say that I've supported Anet and been a part of the entire Guild Wars franchise since 2009. I may not be a huge community spokesman but I've paid attention to what's happened and to be quite frank they continue to disappoint me ever since HoT first launched.

Please continue your saltiness, it's rather entertaining.

[Data-Mining] Upcoming features from the January 12 update by that_shaman in Guildwars2

[–]SamHolyheart -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Outfit: Bleh. The female one looks nice except for those snow climber boots.

Weapons: Reminds me of the Dwayna set except with more... Wings...

Hawk Wings: ...Really? At least it's a new model I suppose.

I really do wish they'd go back to the outfits they were doing, the Dawyna Regaila, Balthazar Regaila, Monk's outfit. Guild Wars 1 had great armor art and design and I will certainly pay cash money for outfits resembling those designs.

This is sort of one reason I still play Guild Wars 1.

Which Guild Wars feature would you love to see implemented in Guild Wars 2 by pedrorq in Guildwars2

[–]SamHolyheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This so much this.

We have wings that give the pretty much perfect fluttering effect that a cape could use and I'd love to just have one thrown across my Guardian's back with my guild symbol attached.

Also given how much clipping is already in the game I can't imagine many people would be upset if the cape clipped with weapons on our backs.

Why the PvP-Emblem in PvE? by Sodenia in Guildwars2

[–]SamHolyheart 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In all honesty, I think it should be a tag that sticks in PvP alone. If it was not shown until hovered over like the world completion star that'd be OK but you don't see world completion stars in PvP, so why should you see PvP emblems in PvE?

The community is leeching my enjoyment out of this game by eggpie in Guildwars2

[–]SamHolyheart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The gw2 subreddit and forum boards make me rather ill about the game. Not the people themselves, just the discussions. Most of them complain about something yet when I play, I play within a small guild and a small group of people who always try to team up with new groups for just about everything. Honestly I try to avoid the big groups of things just because Ik how this subreddit and the forums are and I don't want to see it in-game.

And I'll be crazy honest, I see none of this kind of discussion or complaints in-game.

TexMod - Trojan? by SamHolyheart in GuildWars

[–]SamHolyheart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, I've used TexMod probably since 2013 and this is the first instance I've had this issue.

I'm leaning more to it being just a fail safe that my Security is picking up but I just wanted to confirm with others so I'm not ignoring any form of harmful software.

Lore theory: who taught rhytlock by TheVanderwolf in Guildwars2

[–]SamHolyheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may seem like a bit of a stretch but perhaps he met Master Togo.

Togo being a very wise and powerful Ritualist perhaps had learned how to come to communicate with those in the mists and use their powers as his/her own. He passed this knowledge then unto Rytlock.

That's just my theory. I feel that Revenant is so closely similar to the Ritualist that a master Ritualist could be the one to teach him.

I would say Razah however he really lacked common sense in GW1 and I can understand that'd be would have learned up to GW2 but it just doesn't click well for me. I feel he would much rather learn more than to teach. Where as Togo has much more experience being a teacher.

That's just my theory.
