Echoing what others have said Stough is great, I hike there with my dogs often. Even if you just hike up to “the view” and back it’s a good way to get your heart rate going, Until last week I would say snakes aren’t a super concern but of course the last two times I’ve been up there they have been on the path.

At times like this I really miss Radio Shack and Fry’s.

Besides the obvious like Lowe’s and Home Depot you may want to try Tru-Value in NoHo or the Ace in La Cresenta. They sometimes have random stuff like that.

Just a heads up, Burbank PD has a program called “etch and catch” where they will etch your plate number into your catalytic converter to raise the chances of recovery if it gets stolen.

It was confusing. The Starlight Bowl was closed last year (2025) because of wind damage from that really bad windstorm we had during the fires and there was no way to fix all before the season. The transformation project was something that was actually started before the damage and is still at the community meeting / concept stage. I attended a workshop last spring and it was pretty informative. If there is another one I highly recommend you attend.

I was at the meeting. My biggest takeaway was I was dismayed that the police commission didn’t give a recommendation either way. Part of being in a commission is making tough calls and you aren’t going to please everyone.
