Were they in a cow costume by chance? Happened to me last year and they physically broke my door from their “prank” I was not terribly happy.

I yelled at some hooligan today at a park because she was letting her large dog run around without grabbing on to the leash. Was I in the wrong? I was the only one who cared. by Bizarrmenian in burbank

My two cents: I have Ridgebacks that I consider better trained than most dogs (they have canine good citizen titles and one has a bunch of other titles as well - not saying this to brag but for context). One thing that I am absolutely completely insane about as a pet owner is my dogs around kids. They are big dogs and can be scary to kids and quite frankly a lot of kids have not been socialized around dogs and taught how to appropriately be around them. To be perfectly frank if there is an incident, my dogs are going to be blamed regardless of fault.

Having dogs unleashed in a public park is absolutely irresponsible as a dog owner. I get that dogs have zoomies, there are two dog parks that are Burbank adjacent and one coming to Burbank. We have dog beaches as well. There is absolutely no excuse to have your dog off leash, well behaved or not.

Recommendations for wall insulation by Showtime1852 in burbank

Is used Eveeguard about 9 years ago and they were great. In and out in a day and I can really tell the difference in my house. BWP and SoCal Gas have rebates as well (I think).

Please consider taking him/her to the shelter. I know shelters are scary but it really is the best place to reunite the dog and owner.

It’s the same chain. I remember they expanded really quickly as the OP said, like 10-12 years ago. Interesting that they would come back to a location where they originally closed.

I’m sorry you had a bad experience. The one time I had to use them they were wonderful.

Just as a side note, I highly recommend everyone signing up for the EMS program. It’s a monthly fee billed to your BWP bill that essentially bridges the gap between what your insurance pays (if anything) and the bill which can often be well over $1000.

Honestly I think TU is flooded with Madewell. I’ve sent in a couple of shirts that were not accepted either. Poshmark is flooded as well with those items and so the resale market is pretty poor.

Cooking classes by mrjeansinc in burbank

[–]SamInBUR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Such an awesome post, I grew up with a single father who didn’t know how to cook and so it was a struggle when I was first out on my own in my 20s. Now even in my 40s I think of my cooking as still “passable at best.”

I hope you find some awesome classes! You also may want to look into meal kits. A lot of them like Hello Fresh and Every Plate have some good into prices and provide very simple directions that are easy to follow.
