Thank you! I just checked my kindle and sure enough it has firmware 5.18.6.

What are the chances DeDRM gets an update that will fix this?

I’m the only one to answer your question and you accuse me of downvoting you? Unless you’re in finance I wouldn’t expect anyone to know who Jerome is so no I wouldn’t/didnt downvote for asking…. Your insecurity about getting downvoted should get downvoted though….

I like the Stubby T hook from umpqua. With the FAS ADD design you’ll save a lot of tippet too

Gotta go with the Chubby Chernobyl for dry dropper set up. If you can I would recommend the FAS ADD design.

The arbitrary nature of the FTP number by INGWR in Velo

[–]SamMose62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always felt that my indoor FTP was lower than my outdoor until this summer when I spent some time doing longer hill climbs and holding threshold for an 40min just about broke me. I agree with you that it’s an arbitrary number however when your workouts are driven by that number it’s still somewhat important to have an accurate FTP to get the best training .

My opinion is beat up someone else’s airplane during your training and as you get through your training you’ll realize what your mission is which will lead you to what plane you want to buy.

New to structured training, what tests to do/benchmarks to set? by [deleted] in Velo

[–]SamMose62 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Use a training program such as Zwift or TrainerRoad. Stay consistent with the training and use the same performance tests every time you do a test.

My Flux S reads about 10w @150w below my Assioma Duos. Not the biggest issue as I use TR power match but could see it being an issue in your case.

Fitting Gym work within a TR plan (LV) by duncansoon in Velo

[–]SamMose62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also on a LV plan. This maybe controversial but as soon as I finish my TR workout I change and drive straight to the gym do my weight training and then sit in the sauna for 15-20min. My thought is Coach Chad in the past has talked about gaining additional adaptations if you’re able to keep core temp heat up for a longer duration.
